You had me several years ago when I was still quite naive
Well you said that we made such a pretty pair
And that you would never leave
But you gave away the things you loved and one of them was me
I had some dreams, they were clouds in my coffee
Clouds in my coffee, and...

In walking by the fireplace in our family room I noticed the light streaming in from the overhead sky light. I then noticed the figure on the mantle pointing and looking up into the light. Had to grab the camera and shoot.
Explorer #30 Thanks everyone!!
At my Mum's house, we spotted a Robin in her garden busy flying backwards and forwards bringing small amounts of twigs and things to build her nest with..
We were confined to the kitchen to view because we didn't want to disturb her working,, so I had to take these shots through the window..
my sunday dessert looked so yummm i had to take a picture of it and serve you all......... Bon Appétit

Hi everyone, it is -4oC but a glorious morning. Have a wonderful day.
When I used my filter or PL the shot didn't come out quite like I had hoped, so this shot was done without any filter....
I'm not a sunset kind of photographer, and this isn't my usual sort of picture. It turned out pretty well, though, so I thought I'd show that I can do it occasionally.

The Pushkar Fair, or Pushkar ka Mela, is the annual five-day camel and livestock fair, held in the town of Pushkar in the state of Rajasthan, India. It is one of the world's largest camel fairs, and apart from buying and selling of livestock it has become an important tourist attraction and its highlights have become competitions such as the "matka phod", "longest moustache", and "bridal competition" are the main draws for this fair which attracts thousands of tourists. In recent years the fair has also included an exhibition cricket match between the local Pushkar club and a team of random foreign tourists. It is celebrated for five days from the Kartik ekadashi to Kartik Poornima, the full moon day (the 15th) of Kartik (November-December) in Hindu calendar. The full moon day is the main day and the day, according to legend, when the Hindu god Brahma sprung up the Pushkar Lake, thus numerous people swim in its sacred waters.

Something a little different than my usual landscape. I'm becoming very sensitive to light these days. :-)

While traveling through southern Utah, we went for a midnight hike in Natural Bridges. It is reported to be one of the darkest places on earth. Simply amazing night sky! This 30 second exposure doesn't do it justice. The arch is lit entirely by moonlight coming from over my shoulder.
i've gotta hold on
as these days go by
i keep on fallin'
you walk away
i give you everything, that i have to give
made my sacrifice, but you won't let me live
love is so green, in a beautiful kind of way
you've got me wrapped around, your prison ball and chain
you can never tell which you're gonna be
cus you're so obsessed, with your personalities
love is so sick, and you know god is love
you think you're somethin', somethin' from above
Iive gotta hold on
as all these days go by
hold on baby,
cus i'm fallin'
and you keep on walkin' away
and i can not see the sunrise...
