Sin luz se hace difícil regresar aun conociendo cada recodo del camino. Sin luz es fácil equivocarse en los cruces y perderse en un laberinto de decisiones. Sin luz las heridas dolorosas acechan tras cada paso en falso. Sin luz los ojos y la razón creen lo que necesitan creer. Sin luz despiertan perezosamente los otros sentidos. Sin luz no se distinguen los atajos ni las señales.
Es posible no necesitar la luz, si nunca te has perdido.

Without light it is difficult to return even knowing every turn of the road. Without light it is easy to make a mistake at the intersections and get lost in a maze of decisions. Without light, painful wounds lurk behind each misstep. Without light, the eyes and reason believe what they need to believe. Without light all the senses lazily awaken. Without light, you cannot distinguish shortcuts or signs.
It is possible not to need the light, if you have never been lost.

I loved to walk on along the boardwalk on St Marks basin to watch the light change in the dawn of morning. It was so calm and romantic. The gondolas were always bobbing in the water, faithfully waiting for the day to break and for people to hop on board.

Magnolienblüten verleiten
beim Wachen ins Träumen zu gleiten,
Gedanken des Alltags zu meiden,
sich einfach am Schönen zu weiden.
Wie freut dich der Knospe Erfüllung
nach nächtlich versteckter Enthüllung,
Wie schmeichelt den Augen die Seide

Erinnern an fahlgrauen Zeiten

These Daffodils are the only ones in our entire property that come up in the beginning of December, they will stay under the snow and just about now start resurfacing,

And the sun took a step back, the leaves lulled themselves to sleep and autumn was awakened.
