View from above High Force looking downstream of the burgeoning River Tees. I took the trip to Teesdale yesterday in search of some Autumn Colour. There was some but I probably should have left it another couple of weeks.

This juvenile male Grizzly just woke up from a good nap. We watched him for a while, not making any noise and finally he must have heard something or sensed us in his presence.
I loved to walk on along the boardwalk on St Marks basin to watch the light change in the dawn of morning. It was so calm and romantic. The gondolas were always bobbing in the water, faithfully waiting for the day to break and for people to hop on board.
spring has sprung these last two weeks in Appleton. the earth awakens; our hearts awaken. we grow, in community, toward the light.
