ABM Aviation currently operate the main car park shuttle at Gatwick. BN17 JOH is one of seven 2017 Mercedes Benz Citaro bendybuses inherited from OFJ Connections and was seen at the Airport this morning, 19th October, 2022.
This slide is from my collection, but I did not take this photograph. The description on the slide says "HMS Vidal's helicopter taking off" and is dated 17 September 1959. After a little research I discovered that on the 9th December 1959 this helicopter lost power taking off from the ship, ditched in the sea and sank.
