Nancy-Bird has quite an interesting history as five years ago, on 4th November 2010, she suffered severe damage after a catastrophic failure in her No 2 engine after take off from Singapore. She had to return to Singapore and repairs took until 2012, with the plane returning to Australia on 22nd April that year.
It was down to the skill of the pilots that the accident wasn't far worse and the plane and people landed safely.
