The Blue Spirit and Suki from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Thoughts?
Also, apparently I’ve been on Flickr for over 3 years now. Damn.
This is the Eastern Air Temple from Avatar The Last Airbender, and The Legend of Korra. It was the only build I displayed at BrickWorld Chicago this year, and the majority of it was also built at BrickWorld. When I brought it to the convention on Wednesday afternoon, pretty much nothing above the light blay base had been built, but I was still able to finish it Friday morning in time for judging (and to get nominated for the Youth category).
BrickWorld this year was a ton of fun (probably my favorite con I've been to yet), and that was of course because of all the awesome people I got to meet and old friends I got to see again.
I've tagged just a few of the people I particularly enjoyed meeting and spending time with.
For those who don't know, I've previously built the Northern and Southern Air Temples which can be found here and here
I realize this isn't my best installment in my series of Air Temples, but for having built the majority of it in under 2 days I'm pretty happy with it ;P

This is the Southern Air Temple from Avatar The Last Airbender, and The Legend of Korra. Reference Picture
It is about 26 studs deep at it's thickest, and about 114 studs tall.
It was a long process building and refining this model, so special thanks to those tagged and many others who looked at my wips and gave helpful suggestions.
If you're interested, I do have some extra shots of the build linked bellow:
I also built the Northern Air Temple last year, if you haven't seen that already, you can check it out Here
More people expressingt their inner selves through avatar play at Fracture. Sometimes the inner self is a goof.
You can take your poxy WiiMe and swivel! :-) Introducing the brand new XBox Live Avatar, which has been introduced today as part of the new console interface update.
I'm sure you'll agree, the resemblance is uncanny! ;-)
The new interface update is pretty damned impressive and radical, as well. Very swish and pretty. If you don't have a 360 yet - why not? Stick one on your Christmas list now! :-D

Avatar (1980-1997) was a young stray my husband and I adopted from the Humane Society in 1982. He remained healthy for many years but in Jan. 1995, he was diagnosed with chronic renal failure (CRF). During his illness we learned about feline kidney failure from our vets and books. There was nothing online about it at that time. In an effort to distribute hard-to-find information to others with CRF cats, we created a website in 1996. During the 20 years or so that we were online we had thousands of visitors and thousands of positive and caring emails both from feline caregivers and vets. Avatar became known internationally as the poster cat for feline CRF. Our website received very positive reviews from both Cat Fancy and Cats magazines and was mentioned in three or four articles about kidney disease in both of these publications. The website was quoted in a Tufts University newsletter (Diagnosis: Kidney Disease) and was chosen as the Featured Website for September, 2001 by the American Association of Feline Practitioners. As time went on there was so much information about feline chronic renal disease online and, as we were growing older, we eventually felt that it was time to close the website. Our boy Avatar changed our lives dramatically for the better. He was an extraordinary cat and my soul-mate. All Avatar photos copyright C. Statton DiFiori
