This is a sunrise shot that I had some really nice thick fog to work with and I also liked how the sun was peeking out just bit here, thanks for looking and your comments.

Late last week there were a couple of lovely mists on the Levels - which often means that the butterflies will also be covered in dew.
I've basically put more shadow into this shot to make the Tor a little more distinct - this has deepened the orange of the early morning sun however I quite like the intensity that it adds. As though the sun has gone up a few more gears.
My macro lens performs admirably at this however I'm very tempted to get a lens for this type of work. Looking at a sigma 17-70mm f2.8-f4 as it seems like a capable bit of kit at a sensible price. If anyone knows anything good or bad about this one I'd be very interested to hear.

This is DSRV-2, Avalon -- designed to be able to rescue crews from submarines as much as 5000 feet underwater.
It's the first frosty night of the year. The trees are covered with a fine layer of hoarfrost and fog rises from the meadows.
Avalon ocean pool is located on the northern beaches of Sydney and is a fantastic location for seascape photography.
Bit of flow action at Avalon beach this morning, as the year is coming to an end im really looking forward to next year and seeing where my photography takes me and how it progresses.
I know I photograph this location regularly but I'm always blown away at what I can come up with. This morning was one of those rare occasions where the sky opens up and the colour explodes for only a brief few minutes. That glow you get off the water and rocks along with the flow is just mind numbing and this scene really depicts the passion I have for landscape and photography in general. I hope everyone who reads this is well and staying safe through this crazy time in history.
I haven't posted this before as to be honest I wasn't sure if it was good enough - I do like playing with landscapes and we're blessed round here with plenty of great views.
This was taken just outside Ashcott as you take the road to RSPB Ham Wall and Meare. It was taken a moment after 6am on a trip to try and see roosting chasers and later hobbies - worked out on both counts that day.
Large is best.

One from a couple of months ago that I've only just got around to posting.
