Beautiful Red squirrel jumping in the rain, this was taken a few weeks ago on my trip to Blairgowrie. We had poor light all day and most photos were unusable however we did get a brief afternoon reprieve and this shot was one of them.
Another image from my glorious autumn visit to the new Galloway area. Clear sky and golden light along with perseverance and luck allowed me these action shots.
The River Stour at Christchurch Quay on a lovely calm November Sunday. The Autumn colours beautiful.
We spotted this male Bluethroat lurking in the shadows but despite watching him for a while, he wouldn't come out into the open!

I managed to get a nice clean shot of this young kingfisher would made several dives before coming out the water with a fish. This was one of his unsuccessful attempts. Again I had lovely golden morning light for this effort.
Taken on a trip to Perth and Kinross, Scotland at the weekend. Managed to get several shots from two visits late last night.

Sunrise this morning. A scene I'd been planning in my head for weeks and was just waiting for the mist and sunshine to show up at the same time on a Saturday or Sunday so I'd be home to shoot it. So I got lucky!! ;-)
We found this Sanderling yesterday, with a small group of Dunlin.
