There are only a few days left before we officially cross into autumn, but here in Second Life, the season already seems to have arrived.
The trees are turning gold, the fields are catching the last of the warm light, and the quiet path across the old wooden bridge feels like a perfect place to pause and take it all in. It’s that brief time of year when summer is still lingering, but autumn is clearly waiting just ahead.

Well….That misty and… mystical Chateau-morning, that I was telling you about in my previous capture, I was also found in this extraordinary spot: so close to the…Mystical River’s multi-coloured, glittering waters, and under the golden-leaved branches of some of his trees …I had this same enchanting feeling, that I used to have being a little girl playing alone, when I was suddenly found covered by the plants growing in our garden at the time…I was feeling utterly protected and happy, believing I was surrounded by Fairies!! I used to stay sitting under there –- eyes closed -- in silence, for a lot of minutes, until I heard the voice of my Mama calling me….But that mystical morning at the Chateau, it was a happy barking dog, that brought me back to the here and now…

Erstes Morgenlicht am Großen Ahornboden im Karwendel - ich liebe diese Stimmungen....Raureif am Boden, der herbstlich verfärbte Bergahorn im Morgenlicht und der dunke Bergwald im Hintergrund....und: um diese Zeit ist man dort noch fast alleine unterwegs...

Geschütztes Naturdenkmal ist die Heckenlandschaft zwischen Gaißach und Lenggries, lange, durchgehende Hecken aus hohen Sträuchern und Bäumen, die einst zur Abgrenzung der Weidegebiete errichtet wurden. Die Heckenlandschaft reicht südlich bis Lenggries und im Osten an die Berggrundstücke (sog. Traten = Bergweiden).
Schön zu überblicken ist dieses Naturdenkmal, wie hier im Bild, von der Sonntraten aus (1.100m)

Bühne frei - Goldener Oktober am Großen Ahornboden im Karwendel. Eiskarlspitze, Spritzkarspitze, Plattenspitze und Grubenkarspitze (von links nach rechts) sind bereits frisch angezuckert...der massige Bergkörper rechts gehört zum Gamsjoch.
Heute war ein traumhafter kalter Tag in meinen geliebten Bergen.
