Found this charming, tucked-away cove dressed in the last colors of the season. The classic Falu red cabin and deep orange trees reflect perfectly in the still water, a beautiful, private spot on the lake.
The splash of red from the cabin and the orange buoys really anchor this cozy scene. It feels like the kind of place you’d retreat to when you need complete peace.
Le bateau WB Yeats of Irish Ferries finishes her journey from Cherbourg while for others, its just the start of their journey on a chilly morning in October towards the end of the Great South Wall, all that fresh Irish Sea air, oh la la.
WB Yeats was constructed by German shipbuilder Flensburger & delivered (albeit late ) in December 2018 & will be primarily used on the Dublin-Cherbourg route, upgrading the route from the current economy Epsilon service.
194 meters long, nearly 32 meters wide, comparable with the mighty Ulysses on the Dublin-Holyhead route but has far more cabin space given the longer crossing to France.
A total capacity of 1,885 passengers and crew, with 435 individual passenger cabins in various combinations.
Afterwork paddling tour to Steckborn/ Switzerland.

I believe these are Hover Flies...at this time of the year, we don't have very many other insects in our garden.
The autumn days felt brighter than ever before when the tree in front of my window turned yellow last week. The leaves have fallen down now, but I will always keep these days as a special memory of my first home on my own.

This is a knitted cupcake hat I bought for Sofia last year from etsy.com I bought her a pink one too. I'm glad they still fit!
Anyway... I've gotten SO MANY emails asking me how I get my pictures to look the way they do and if I can tell them the "secret". At first I didn't mind emailing back but I'm getting emails pretty frequently now asking the same question so I thought I'd go ahead and address that here so that EVERYONE can see it and if I get emails like that again, I can just forward them HERE.
Ok, my NOT SO SECRET "secret" to how I edit my photograph is the following. So easy really... not complicated or magical at all...
1. I shoot in RAW. Always. I have been for a while.
2. I open up my RAW image either in Lightroom or Photoshop and mess with the color balance. I color balance it, what looks looks perfect to MY EYE. Not too much yellow, not too much blue, not too much red. Just right.
3. I adjust the color brightness and sometimes fiddle with the contrast settings.
4. Once my image looks JUST RIGHT, I run an action on it and see if I like the result.
5. Once I run the action if I don't like the results, I play with the layers/opacities
And that's it! Sometimes I'll even add a "Photo Filter" layer in PS or even a "gradient overlay". Play around and see what works for you. =)

Alyssa's Photoshop Actions, Elusive Actions & Autumn Love Actions I don't work so I love buying actions like these. They're amazing and GREAT in price! ;)
ps. Someone thought I was using "Eye Candy" actions... that made me giggle because I've been wanting them for a LONG TIME but they're out of my budget. They're lovely but too pricey for me. =(
