These beautiful leaves have begun their slow transition from green to red. Sometimes they put on quite the colour display. Last year it skipped the brilliant red stage so I'm hoping it gets a chance to show off it's colour explosion this time around the sun.

This is the first post taken my new (to me) camera. What a beast it is, and an absolute delight to shoot with. I look forward to mastering driving it! I'll be needing quite some time and direction.

Fall Reflections acorns and leaves reflect on this glass top, Autumn is here, shot in North Carolina.

I'm going to have to finally admit that Autumn is here and put the heating on I think....my feet are freezing!

And look, no texture!!

We have several large sunflowers and the goldfinches are in heaven, during the day they jump from the sunflowers to the cosmos eating seeds and singing - what a life ;D

Birds are migrating through, so many warblers, waxwings, and a variety of shore birds!

Have a lovely Monday and be well:)

ten thousand flowers in spring,

the moon in autumn,

a cool breeze in summer,

snow in winter.

if your mind isn't clouded

by unnecessary things,

this is the best season of your life.

Le bateau WB Yeats of Irish Ferries finishes her journey from Cherbourg while for others, its just the start of their journey on a chilly morning in October towards the end of the Great South Wall, all that fresh Irish Sea air, oh la la.

WB Yeats was constructed by German shipbuilder Flensburger & delivered (albeit late ) in December 2018 & will be primarily used on the Dublin-Cherbourg route, upgrading the route from the current economy Epsilon service.

194 meters long, nearly 32 meters wide, comparable with the mighty Ulysses on the Dublin-Holyhead route but has far more cabin space given the longer crossing to France.

A total capacity of 1,885 passengers and crew, with 435 individual passenger cabins in various combinations.

Feelings

Feelings, nothing more than feelings

Trying to forget my feelings of love

Teardrops rolling down on my face

Trying to forget my feelings of love

Feelings, for all my life I′ll feel it

I wish I've never met you, girl

You′ll never come again

Feelings, wo-o-o feelings

Wo-o-o, feel you

Again in my arms............

have a fantastic week ahead everyone :)

If you love a flower don't pick it up.

Because LOVE is not about possession, it is about appreciation.

Taken on a Fujifilm X-T3 with XF 50-140mm

As soon as she landed in that puddle of water, away from the comfort of her old branch, the yellow leaf knew she wasn't that happy with the fall anymore... and started missing a home she would never be able to return to...

Autumn is here, and it is to stay.

The rain has decided to bring Autumn to the land, but the season has come kicking and screaming (and even still, Summer still maintains part of its grip -- this morning was supposed to be very chilly, and yet it's vaguely humid and slightly warm).

Here, drops of that demanding rain. For your amusement. Nay, for your pleasure.

where is the spider ??

a great new day !!!!!

Summer is over

Autumn is here

Golden splender is every where

Green is gone

bright reds, yellows and oranges appear

Leaves litter the backwoods path

that leads to the familiar house.

The paint is chipped and peeling

back from the old wooden swing.

So many hours spent swinging and dreaming- lifting up us and away.

As we sit and admire

the changing season-

I can almost glimpse

the summer of our youth.

Memories of childhood

priceless and dear

forever in our hearts
