Colors of the Montmorency Park.
Quebec City is a 400 years old European settlement in North America resulting from military rivalries among European powers. The City started out as a fort built by Samuel de Champlain, and expanded beyond its fortifications over the centuries until it was conquered by British forces in 1759.
The pattern of clouds and shadows changed rapidly, and the view kept changing. This shot was taken shortly after the previous shot.
What could be better on Wednesday than a Fall falls from Falls Creek in the Three Sisters Wilderness?
The trail to this waterfall is easily accessed from the trailhead of the same name along the Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway in the central Oregon Cascade Mountains near Bend, Oregon.

The foliage of a branch had changed colours in the Fall, while some of the leaves had fallen off, there's still a tiny one lingering at the very end.
Canadian Pacific's train 484, muscles out of Watertown as the autumn colors start their seasonal show.

Sunrise light illuminates interstate commuters crossing between Oregon and Washington at the start of a November morning as our Delta flight departed Portland International Airport.
Interstate 205 crosses the Columbia River between Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington.
The forground is Government Island located in the middle of the Columbia River which is white-capping in strong east winds blowing through the Columbia River Gorge.

Took this a year ago. Saw these two deer munching on grass as I entered the cemetery for a photo shoot. Picture perfect, aren't they?

Light cast down on the fallen leaves, highlighting some and casting others into darkness.
This is the upper portion of Whitewater Falls in North Carolina. I zoomed in on the upper portion of the falls so I could capture the rainbow in addition to the fall foliage surrounding the falls. Whitewater Falls is the highest waterfalls in North Carolina.

Serious snow in October in New England has only happened 3 times since 1840 !!!
In this image, I wanted to show the rugged pink rocks by the edge of the Pond. It was a rainy, foggy and overcast day. I was able to take a few photographs under the drizzly rain because I was standing under a tree. Soon after we left, it started to rain heavily.
A gorgeous little pond, nestled between rounded mountains.
Bubble Pond seems to run north to south. As a matter of fact, all of the bodies of water on Mount Desert Island do the same. During the ice ages, massive sheets of ice as much as 2 miles high, moved ever so slowly across this land in a southerly direction, scooping out the low areas and shearing off the mountain tops leaving them rounded rather than pointed.

I was walking in the park right before sunset, feeling depressed about the bare trees. And then the last rays of the setting sun hit this maple. Stop, winter! Not just yet.
Leaves on the trees changing from green to beautiful orange, yellow and red during Autumn in Bensville on the Central Coast of NSW, Australia.
To an autumn leaf, dappled red,

Almost all the foliage colours that signify the arrival of autumn or Fall are here, from yellow, brown, to orange and red, and of course some green colours can still be spotted during season change!
Incredibly, a spot of pale sun shone through the dense clouds and hit these trees - just as I was speeding along, late for an appointment. Wouldn't you just know! I had no time to get out and compose a great shot; I just pulled over, rolled down the window and got what I could, and then had to hurry on. But it was an amazing light display, I must say.

Kirifuri Falls is one of the three most famous waterfalls in Nikko together with Kegon Falls and Urami Falls.
It consists of two stages; the upper stage of 25m and the lower stage of 26m with total length of 75m.
Autumn color was wonderful when I visited there at the end of October.
