This park is right across the street from where I work. I met my with my son, daughter-in-law and grandson during lunch hour for a little walk in the park.
Autumn days can be glorious. This shot was taken along the Worcester Road, near my home, with Malvern Link Common to the right...

This is another re-do on a photo I took in West Hollywood in late November of 2011. The three separate colors on the one leaf kick out more now. I think that's a worm hole; some kind of insect tried to make a meal out of it. Anyway, they didn't get much or far with it.

A vibrant canopy of golden maple leaves captures the essence of autumn in its purest form. Bathed in sunlight, each leaf glows like a fragment of fire, creating a living mosaic of warmth and color. This fleeting moment reminds us of nature’s artistry and the quiet beauty of seasonal change.

Did you know that the brilliant colors of autumn leaves are always present in the leaf, but hidden by chlorophyll during summer? When chlorophyll breaks down in fall, the yellows and oranges of carotenoids and the reds of anthocyanins emerge, painting the landscape in fiery hues.

Now, we have really golden Octoberdays... with fantastic colors and light. It is wonderful... this is a view from Liebfrauenberg onto my hometown, surrounded from many vineyards. This is really a special place... there is a earlier cemetry and a dancingplace for witches...
Gestern waren Licht und Farben wie ausgewechselt... nach gräulichen Tagen endlich "Goldener Oktober" und ich gleich mit der Kamera unterwegs... hier ein Blick vom Liebfrauenberg aus auf Bad Bergzabern und die herrlichen Weinberge der Region Südpfalz. Auf dem Berg befindet sich ein ehemaliges Kloster und irgendwo versteckt im Wald ein ehemaliger Hexentanzplatz...
