Colours of Autumn - my favourite time of the year has come around again and some of the colours of autumn are starting to appear.

I definitely learned something about working with "difficult" models through this experience. While I'm pretty happy with how these photos came out, they weren't created without their share of hardships, including: a living room covered in straw, several broken pumpkin stems, an a lot of me rolling around on the floor like an idiot.
Also at one point Gravy got jealous that it was Frank's turn in front of the camera, and bit him.

Decided to spend a little bit out back to see if more deer would come through. I did see one doe, but at that point it was already pretty dark, and she didn't get close enough for any good pictures. So here, enjoy these "backyard on a cool autumn night aesthetic" shots instead.

One of those places in the which takes your breath away the moment you step on the ledge to witness the sight. It felt like being on a different planet, something you only see in your dreams.
The gorgeous mountain ranges of Yoho National Park in the Canadian Rockies cradle the three turquoise blue lakes illuminated by intensely colorful light as the setting sun colors low-lying clouds. I was quite lucky with the light that day.

This image encompasses everything I love about landscape photography. The weather was p1ss poor that morning. Chance of getting the image you wanted in this beautiful location was very bleak. The mood was down after the long morning hike. Rain and very thick clouds. Then the clouds stepped away just for a few dozen seconds for the sun to burst through to illuminate the mountain exactly as I had hoped for. It is moments like this you never forget.
Canadian Rocky Mountains never disappoint. 🌄🇨🇦️🍁
