Last one from me! Two shot super resolution vertical pano for feeding the Z3200 printer; the full size tiff clocks in at around 390 megabytes!
Back from a leisurely 10km hike. The Dolomites never disappoint.
Btw. I stitched five 14mm shots with the new panorama feature in Lightroom 6. Worked flawless and better than in Autopano, which surprised me.
A reprocessed version of a previous photo I took in October 2015.
This is a 28 image panorama of the Milky Way setting over Sugarloaf Rock in Naturaliste, Western Australia. On the top left of the image, we can see the Large Magellanic Cloud and on the far right, the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse.
The full image stitched in Autopano Giga was a massive 22K by 10K. Giving a 290 degree field of view.
This image was taken on a conventional tripod head with a 24mm lens. Slight oversights in the shooting process created chaos in the stitching. However, with an unearthly amount of manual control points set, I managed to get a seamless stitch.

Classé parmi les plus beaux villages de France, Gordes s'élève face au massif du Luberon.
View of Paris from the top of Notre-Dame Cathedral. Stitched with Autopano, processed in CaptureOne.
On a still, clear and very dark night back in March of 2021, I was blessed to be out photographing the starry band and galactic core of the Milky Way as it rose over mountains located southeast of Braidwood, Australia. Not only did I capture the glories of the stars, nebulae and dark dust clouds as they hung there in the sky, but the smooth waters of Jembaicumbene Creek provided me with a reflection of all of those wonders, too.
A gasp of ground fog hung over the paddocks away towards the mountains while the beams spreading out from my LED light banks lit the lush grass along the creek’s banks and beyond. Atmospheric airglow lit the sky with the beautiful greenish hues you can see in my photo. After missing the last 15 weeks of Milky Way season due to my city’s COVID lockdown, looking at a picture like this reminds me that there’ll be plenty more chances to shoot the majestic Milky Way when the new year rolls around.
I shot six single-frame photos that I stitched together in software to create this vertical panorama. For each of those individual images, I used a Canon EOS 6D camera fitted with a Sigma 35mm f/1.4 Art lens @ f/1.6, using an exposure time of 10 seconds @ ISO 6400. The camera was mounted on a Nodal Ninja 3 panoramic head.

This is the second shot of this amazing area of south Iceland known as Stockness, near the village of Höfn, of my recent trip to Iceland. In low tide a large area of this nice beach of black sand maintains a thin film of water that allows to see reflections such as this one with the mountains in the background. The lights in the sunrise and the small clouds surrounding the peaks configured this relaxing scene.
It is a panorama made with 2 shots. I used Autopano to stitch the photos.
The name of the photo is a contraction of the Mirror of Stockness.

A learning curve, for sure. Tracked the stars, 4 shots for 30s each camera position. Stacked each frame in Starry Landscape Stacker and output using the mean algorithm, cropped parts of the landscape in Ps, then stitched 30 final images in AutoPano Giga.
Fixed and replaced with a more vertical projection, learning, always. Although this one feels a bit tall...
A bit of a foggy driveway shot from Gostwyck. Can't get NIK up and running at the moment on the new laptop so no graduated fog of tonal contrast. What is a photoshopper to do?

Still searching, looking, hoping for answers - remembering a wonderful night alone under the stars deep in the Adirondacks of NY, USA at Lake Lila, one of my favourite places.
This is a 'stay at home' re-edit, playing with the reflections a bit and altering the base Ps files that were stacked and stitched to make this image.
Canon EOS M6, EFM22, f2.8, 120s @ ISO 800, riding on a Vixen Polarie.
27 images (3 land, 12x2 for the sky). Tracked, stacked and stitched. Lr, AutoPano Giga and Ps.
Hiked into one of my favourite places and enjoyed a long night under the stars. Setup @ dusk, snacked, and watched the light change. Heard fireworks from far far away, dozed off, and took over an hour to capture multiple images.
Minimal edit in Lr, exported as TIFF, Stacked in Starry Sky Stacker, stitched in AutoPano Giga, imported to Ps, curves and adjustments, along with pasting in the foreground, then final adjustments in Lr.

Star Lovers
Sugarloaf Rock, Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse Western Australia is the perfect place to stargaze. A quick drive from the local town of Dunsborough, it is free from any major light pollution sources, with the largest being the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse. The Milky Way is clearly visible on a cloudless night.
A couple of friends of mine wanted an astro portrait together and Sugarloaf Rock seemed like the perfect location. Together, we made the 3 hr drive down from Perth to Sugarloaf Rock, arriving with just enough time to soak in the views left by the fading light.
As the last of the light turned to dark, the stars began to reveal themselves and the familiar glow of the milky way dominated the southern skies. The stargazers were free to indulge in the night sky as I captured the experience.
See you under the stars

This panorama of the Milky Way arching over a long-abandoned silo in a fallow sugar cane field has been a long time coming. Located in northern New South Wales, Australia, my first sighting of the relic was in July of 2017. I didn't get the chance to photograph it until a year later, when I spent a couple of hours shooting several compositions, including this 53-image beauty. It's a little over three years since I shot those photos, and I'm only now posting the results, but I have no idea why it's taken me so long.
The trees growing through the side and top of the decrepit structure remind me of the "life finds a way" line from Jurassic Park. The nearby city of Lismore is responsible for the yellowed burst of light at the right-hand end of the Milky Way's arch.
As I mentioned already, this panorama was created from 53 individual photos, each of which I shot using my Canon EOS 6D camera, a Rokinon 24mm f/1.4 lens @ f/2.4, using an exposure time of 15 seconds @ ISO 6400. My camera was mounted on a NodalNinja 3 panoramic head.
A panoramic shot of the Guadalhorce River Gorge known locally as Garganta del Chorro this is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty called the lake district of Malaga. On the shot the famous walkway El Caminito del Rey can be seen bridging the gorge and winding across the face of the mountain.
Southern view of GMT tower. Bracketed and stitched pano with a bit of cloning to remove buildings to the side. Quite happy with this output. A sort of colour image for a change.

A shot I hadn't yet processed from Cape Solander. This is a 5 shot pano x 3 brackets blended manually after stitching in Autopano.
It was a fun morning with the FOCUS crew. Not super happy with this but I haven't shot anything in 3 weeks so getting desperate.
