Durante estos últimos días nos animamos unos cuantos a ir a comprar el pan a Sicilia. Pillándonos un avión desde Madrid hasta Roma, y a continuación en un nocturno como el que os muestro desde Roma hasta Catania, acabamos César, Gonzalo, Felipe y yo en esta preciosa isla del Mediterráneo.

El objetivo era claro: trenes convencionales y antiguos. Y puf, nos fuimos más que satisfechos. En la foto que os muestro, la preciosa Caimano 656.492 (que poco les queda) con el Intercity Notte procedente de Milán y con destino Siracusa.

Darle las gracias a César, por hacer posible un viaje como este y organizarlo tan bien.

Not far out of Green River, Utah Amtrak 5 cruises past the Book Cliffs on the former Rio Grande heading up towards Price. Running almost two hours late the sun is only minutes away from dropping behind the mountains. 6/23/18
