Can't really complain about working in Sheffield!!
This was taken Sunday afternoon on Sugworth Road overlooking Sugworth Tower.. Or Boot's Folly..
From Wiki - "At 53.4055°N 1.6549°W, high on the south flanks of the reservoir at a height of 315 metres (1,033 ft) stands Boot's Folly, also known occasionally as Strines Tower or Sugworth Tower. This is a folly constructed in 1927 by Charles Boot who resided at nearby Sugworth Hall. The 45-foot-high (14 m) square tower with castellated top and flag pole was built from left over stone when the nearby Bents House was constructed. The stone for Bents House had come from the disused Bents Farm, Pears House Farm and Nether Holes Farm which had been demolished because they were suspected of polluting the waters in the dale. It is thought that Boot's Folly was constructed to provide work for Sugworth Hall’s workmen during The Depression. There is also a theory, however, that Boot built the tower so he could see High Bradfield churchyard where his wife, who had died in 1926, aged 56, was buried. Today the interior is bare but it originally had wood panelling and a large furnished room at the top where the Boot family could enjoy the view. There was a spiral staircase to the top, but this was removed some years ago after a cow climbed the stairs and became stuck. The Folly gives fine views of the reservoir and Bradfield Dale"

I work for Yorkshire Ambulance Service on the RRVs in and around the city of Sheffield in South Yorkshire.
It’s a great job and I feel very honoured to be able to help people at their point of need.
Check out the website for all sorts of info re YAS and the work we do.

The plants in this marsh (Labrador Tea?) have turned red. It may have something to do with the water level being 3 feet lower than usual because of the summer-long drought. North of Westport, Leeds and Grenville County, Ontario, Canada. This panorama was constructed from 8 horizontal photos by the free version of Autostitch.
This lake is one of my favorite spots in Guatemala. It was created by huge volcanic activity millions of years ago, and it's located on the Western Highlands at an altitude of 1560 meters above sea-level.
On reading about this lake, I found out that Aldous Huxley visited it once and wrote:
"Lake Como, it seems to me, touches on the limit of permissibly picturesque, but Atitlán is Como with additional embellishments of several immense volcanoes. It really is too much of a good thing."
This panorama is a composition of six photos using Autostitch.
This pic is a result of stitching 3 single photos together.I used "photostitch" by Canon and post processed it with photoshop.

This is a 7 image panorama shot in using an R72 filter blocking out all but infrared light. Since water absorbs about 99% of the infrared light it appears black and therefore makes for excellent reflections.
The sky was clear and the waters calm on this day.
A view of the Louisville metro area from Skyline Drive in New Albany, IN. Created from nine exposures using autostitch. The downtown skyline can be seen in the center of the shot, more clearly in the original version. The buildings are 8.5 miles away.
An additional note on distance: In the full size version the rise of Iroquois Park is clearly visible to the right of downtown. Since Iroquois Park is 6.5 miles South of downtown, the approximate full range of view from Skyline Drive that day was 15 miles. That's quite a view!

From Wiki - "Whitby is a seaside town, port and civil parish in the Borough of Scarborough and English county of North Yorkshire. Situated on the east coast of Yorkshire at the mouth of the River Esk, Whitby has a combined maritime, mineral and tourist heritage, and is home to the ruins of Whitby Abbey where Caedmon, the earliest English poet, lived. For Ewan who asked politely for this....
This is a stitched panorama of my office dine in a pile of haste before leaving town for a cross country trip. I did a quick series of overlapping photos, and not even done nicely pivoted form a good central point, put turning from left to right. I then used the amazing Autostitch tool, one that automatically takes a series of sloppy pano shots like these and ties them nicely together.
It's a windows only program, but I ran it on my Mac in Parallels during the plane flight from Phoenix to Atlanta, and then did a bit of the warp filter in photoshop to try and even out the vertical lines.
This room is actually about 12 feet square, and my back is to the closet door.
Oh, this is in my house, but is the Phoenix branch office of the New Media Consortium -- there is also a field office in Strawberry, Arizona.
This is one of my favourite panoramas; it may seem a little pale compared to other flickr photos from Horseshoe bend, but it is not manipulated in any way (well, I did stitch it, so obviously it has been through the digital mill, but I haven't altered it in any other way.)

A stretch of fast water on Ontario's Mississippi River, which is a favourite with kayakers and fisher-people. Lanark County, Ontario, Canada. This panorama was constructed from 13 horizontal photos by the free version of Autostitch.
the Ghibli Museum is amazing. It was raining so I couldn't really get good pictures, but there's plenty on flickr already. The inside is the really amazing part. Toshio Iwai created some 3d strobe turntable animations, and there are rooms full of original art, sketches, storyboards and inspiration from all of the Ghibli movies. It sounds cheesy but I got really emotional seeing the original sketches.. It's really an attempt to inspire children with the art of animation. There's even a sketchbook that says something like 世界をつくる所 (place to make worlds).. cool stuff.

This image was stitched together from 6 separate images, 2 were done using AutoStitch, but it didnt seem to be able to add the other 4 so I attempted to add them in manually in PhotoShop.
