So the Honda Element was overheating, and I was like shit, now what? So I called around, one Dealership said between $1,000 and $3,000 because they could not tell until they got in there, and then the other said with all the parts and labor it would be $1,823 and they would throw in a free oil change, and I was like that sounds like a hell of a deal! So I scratched my head and figured if those boobs working in the garage at Honda can do it in 6 hours, I bet I can do it myself. So over to O'Rileys I went, picked up the part for $74 and off I went, within the first twenty minutes of cussing at Hotel Element struggling to get the fan piece out, I knew why they charge $200 to take this shit apart, but I figured once again if those boobs at the Honda Stealership can do it, so can I, so 2.5 hours, it was out, disassembled and put back together and is up and running again! Once again, I saved $1,749 by doing it myself!
This was a very small door. I am about 5'3" and I would have trouble fitting through this door.

Slow leak in the RR tire of my car, so decided to swap out the spare while I had it repaired. As I was about load it into the truck, M. pops her head out and says "Hey, you could put that in the bike trailer!"

This is a continuation of my head gasket replacement project Due to the fact that I forgot to clean the old gasket off the intake manifold, I was required re-remove the manifold. The bumps in the old gasket had caused it to leak into cylinder #4.
But, due to the age of the car, I couldn't get a new gasket anytime soon. (Approximately 1½ weeks. I realized I could make a replacement. You can buy gasket material from most Auto parts houses such as Advance Auto Parts. Since I had the old gasket pretty much intact, I could trace it to the material. Then trim the gasket.
Skills I learned in kindergarten, trace and cut.
