This reminds me a little of the late great Spindle of cars in Berwyn (at Cermak Plaza, I have it in my very early Flickr photos.) Seen while biking from downtown Blue Island, IL down S. Western to Dixie Highway; I believe I covered Blue Island, Posen, Dixmoor, Harvey.

This location was built and opened in 1994 and it was renovated in 2006. In summer 2012 the roof collapsed inside, damaging the store. As a result, the store relocated here in November 2012. The roof was fixed on this store in 2013 and the signs were taken down in late April 2014.

Small auto parts that have been discarded where I work sometimes make their way out of the trash bin and on the parking lot asphalt where I found these. A wheel lug bolt, a PCV valve body and a U-joint bearing surface.
Detroit, Toledo & Shore Line #5531 is a 60' XP boxcar built by American Car & Foundry in 1966. Ten years later, the car was caught in St. Paul, undoubtedly shuttling Ford auto parts.
