I want to take this time, on September 30, 2006, to give a tribute to the car that has been in my life for the past six years. He has been with me through the thick and thin of it all. He has given me so much pleasure and has been the most reliable presence in my life these past few years.
He came into my life, brand new, in May 2000 at a Honda dealership in Upstate New York.
He is scheduled to be transferred to his new owner on or about Monday, October 2, 2006 here in Mannheim, Germany.
My car has seen the world with me, touring five countries to date - The United States of America, Canada, Germany, The Netherlands, and France.
I will truly miss him, and I hope that he will continue his reliable and pleasurable existence with the new owner. He gave me about 140,000 miles (225,308 kilometers), and I hope he is just as willing to give the new owner just as many!
Thanks again for all that you have done for me. I will never forget you!
