A screen-shot from what I do at work. This is ESRI GIS data and MrSID images imported into Autodesk's Civil 3D/Map 3D. I can extract geospatial info from the map and navigate via the Data Table fly-out. I control the visibility and properties of the data through the Legend Toolspace on the left pane.

This plugin allows you to copy a part of the drawing by selecting/creating a closed contour. You may select object types that have to be copied. Also, you can set ‘trim flag’ for each of the object type. The part of the drawing that was copied can be additionally rotated, scaled and/or copied to clipboard for inserting into another drawing.
You may create a closed contour without self-intersections in real-time or select a contour that was created before the plugin starts. The options menu allows you to set the types of the objects that have to be copied to select types that have to be trimmed and set flags for rotation/scale/clipboard if it necessary.

When I was 5 my dad bought a commodore 64 and he decided to put it in my bedroom. I remember him teaching me how to use Auto Cad so I could draw on the computer. It's impossible to determine, but looking back I wonder how much influence this had on me in relation to finding my way into graphic design. Here are two scans of prints he kept from 1988. They are of Bullseye and GI Joe.
