Russian Ridge, Santa Cruz Mountains, California
A vivid sunset seen from Audrey's Way on top of the Santa Cruz Mountains. The Pacific Ocean can be seen in the far distance.
The location commemorates Audrey Rust, long time head of the Peninsula Open Space Trust, a non-profit organization whose mission is to acquire land for open space districts and parks of all sorts. During her 24 year tenure 53,000 acres (21,500 hectacres) were protected.
The view is beautiful. The parks are divine.
Shine So Bright

On the side of the Lemon Tree Cafe, an iconic image of Audrey Hepburn, painted in a grey-scale stencil style against a bright yellow background, painted in Jacob Root's signature style. The phrase 'Shine So Bright' is stencilled on the wall, while flowers creep above Hepburn's right shoulder and a glowing light and trail of leaves emanate from her cigarette holder.

The American artist and toymaker was just one of the many talented people to participate in the L.I.S.A. (Little Italy Street Art) Project, an initiative that brings together a diverse group of street artists to create Manhattan's only mural district near historic Mulberry Street.
