Shot created for Macro Monday's - Socket Theme.
This is a 10 pin Hirose, output and return socket for a Sound Devices 552 mixer.
This was my everyday mixer while working back in the mid 2000's to early 2010's. These are very good machines and they last a long time. This one still works perfectly to this day. It just isn't a very good recorder like my current SD 668.
Shot using a Canon FD 50mm f3.5 SSC lens and a 5mm extension tube.
I don't like the looks of this; she does not have a very optimistic look on her face; this does not look promising.

I added some m3 hex screws to improve the look today, minor thing but it makes it look much better.
From the same shoot as yesterdays picture. This is a Tascam 38 8 Track 1/2" reel-to-reel recorder with some Ampex 456 tape. I just love the look of this old audio gear!
An old TEAC 144, a 4-track cassette recorder from around 1980. I shot this while working on a project for a friend. I really like how the shadows stay straight in line with the knobs.
