The Audio Mixer controls eveything that goes "on air". This needs to be steered by a technician. The signal from mixer which is analogue is converted via various processing modules in a digital signal. The various slides which can be seen, are used to amplify what goes out on the mike, the music that is played from the CD players and the sounds (jingles, advertisements and music) that comes from the computer. Each of these slides link up to the various equipment mentioned.
