My son rocking it at the "Stan Darsh" single launch :)

been getting rained out for days now. hopefully i can finish it all tomorrow

I woke in a cold sweat, eyes wide, in the middle of the night. The midnight air was cool around me, adding to my feeling of alertness. I had been having a nightmare. They seemed to begin after the encounter with the mysterious Urag. I didn't get a good look at him, but I knew I had seen the exact same monster before...

I settled back down into my cot, and fell asleep once more. I began to dream. It began benignly, living out a day in my past life. The sun was out, my wife was smiling. But all was not well. The year was 2021, and the next day I would be heading to war. These were the first days of the resistance, which was little more than a twinkle in our eyes. Continental governments were still fighting back, but ultimately failed. However, this was yet to come. At this time, the Urag known commonly as "The General" was at large. I am one of the few survivors from the early days who knows of the atrocities he committed, the families he personally slaughtered. What happened on the night with the campfire was particularly threatening; the General was known to go hunting, hunting for humans. He would raid small homesteads, or groups much like ours, for the sheer pleasure of killing. It is fortunate that we had our weapons, or we would certainly be dead. Anyway, at the time of my dreamy reminiscence, I had known little about the Urags, and much less how to tell them apart. The day had been going well. I had had dinner with my wife and son, and then he had gone to play outside. My wife and I then took out the bottle of champagne given to us at our wedding, and had what we thought may be our final drink together. I still remember the taste of the champagne, and my wife's kiss. It was to be a last, carefree night before I left. However, nothing ever goes as planned. This is where the nightmare came in. Suddenly, I heard a scream from outside. I grabbed my sniper, which had been propped against the wall next to the door, along with my gear. Running outside, I saw a terrible sight. It was my son, being strangled by a massive Urag that had materialized out of the shadows. I couldn't shoot for fear of hitting my son instead. I stood there, helpless, tears filling my eyes, as the live was choked out of my son. My wife was screaming, screaming for me to do something. But I couldn't, couldn't risk hitting him... His eyes would haunt me, this I knew. As he died, the Urag dragged him into the night, never to be seen again..."

With this, I awoke a second time. This time, I stayed up. The worst thing about nightmares, is that sometimes they are true...

After our very succesful first collab we were hired

by Cavata Clothing/USA to create a shirtdesign with the same vibe.

I started with the SM 58 microphone character and SAT came up with

his great looking tape on the top of the design. Once again it was hell of fun,

thanks SAT! This will be soon available in their online shop.

Damn, things had not been going well today.

We started out with a well prepared, albeit small group of soldiers, scouting out some land in Louisiana. Things had been going great, until another catastrophe occurred. Like all those years ago, the 'Rags had been laying in wait, ready for us. But this time, I was ready too. I took out Urag after Urag, but it wasn't enough. Eventually, I was the only man standing against a horde of Urags. They were closing in on my position, keeping behind cover, and leapfrogging positions to stay hidden. They were getting far too close. Then, something massive loomed in my scope. It was an Urag Chieftain, followed by a pair of Skirmishers! I fired wildly, once, and then my magazine clicked empty. Damn, I shouldn't have been careless, and reloaded! The Chieftain brought his massive Chain-ax to bear, and brought it down on me. At the last second, I managed to bring my rifle up to block. The staff nearly sheared through it, but it managed to save my life. I was knocked down by the impact, now weaponless except for my own chainblade. The chieftain raised his staff to finish me off. "So this is how it ends," I thought. In one last act of denial, I spat at his chest as the ax began it's descent. I shut my eyes, now thinking, "ohdamnohdamnohdamnohdamnohdamn!" I felt a wave of force, a burning pain on the side of my face, and everything went black.

A few seconds later, I wearily opened my eyes. I wasn't dead! Instead, I saw the chieftain, staring blankly, with a gaping hole blown in his chest. And a few feet behind him, I saw Cryptid. He barked to the other men in his team, who must have been behind the nearby wall, to clean up the rest of the 'Rags. He helped me to my feet, and I thanked him profusely. Cryptid must have blown a hole in the Chieftain at the last moment with his MGL. however, I was not without my scars. The Chain-axe had done a number on the left side of my face, leaving a long gash. Fortunately, it wasn't fatal, but would likely be there for the rest of my life. Then Cryptid spoke again, "Come on. You can ride with us until you can get back to your group."

"What group?" I responded, picking up an AC8 from a fallen soldier. "They have gone where I cannot follow."

stole this connecter from huey .

did this last year with all my old krylon and rusto scraps.

still enjoying the illustrating :)

I had to rummage in the loft to find my old Akai 4000 Spool to Spool tape deck.

The level meters allow the keen user to balance the levels to get exactly the right result. Edited here to show only the Left meter to be pithing the 3" rules.

I did try to get a signal into the device but it refused to play ball :o(

Friend don't let their friends buy Beats! For years I used my truty Sony MDR-7000DJ. I thought it time to look into a replacement as they are starting to look a little worn. A co-worker and fellow audio enthusiast directed me to the Audio-Technica ATH-M50s. I wanted something that sounded great, but also wouldnt cost $200+. I couldn't be happier with the purchase. Not only do they sound great but the oval earpiece covers your ear completely for comfort and for noise control.
