HISTORY UPDATED - Permanently retired at San Bernardino, CA, USA.
'Atlanta Falcons' logojet.
Fleet No: "741".
Originally to have been registered N984AT, that registration wasn't used and it was delivered to AirTran Airways as N891AT in May-04. It was sold to a lessor on delivery and leased back to AirTran.
AirTran was merged into Southwest Airlines in May-11. The aircraft continued in service until the whole ex-AirTran Boeing 717 fleet was sub-leased to Delta Air Lines. This aircraft was transferred in Dec-13.
The COVID-19 Pandemic in 2020 caused Delta to rethink their fleet operations and the B717 fleet was to be progressively retired. This aircraft was ferried to San Bernardino, CA, USA and permanently retired in Jan-21. Updated Jan-21.
