En el concejo de Piloña hay censados más de 700 hórreos y unas 200 paneras, pero es la localidad de Espinaréu la que destaca tanto por la elevada densidad de los mismos, con un total de 20 hórreos y 6 paneras, como por su interés, siendo probablemente el más excepcional de los conjuntos patrimoniales tradicionales de Asturias.In the council of Piloña there counted more than 700 granaries and 200 bins, but the town of Espinaréu which stands out for the high density thereof, with a total of 20 barns and 6 bins, and its interest remains probably the most unique traditional heritages of Asturias.

Asturies es minera

Si mi tierra Asturies ha sido es y será minera siempre y de ello hemos estado viviendo en esta región ya que no solo los mineros vivieron y viven de ella si no muchísima más gente que montaron talleres, tiendas, bares, etc.

En estos días ya se comunicó que estamos abocados a perder nuestra materia prima, el carbón y con ello muchísimos empleos más que como ya he dicho viven gracias a las minas.

Personalmente creo con sinceridad que es contraproducente el quitar a una región su forma de vida. En 1920 había en Asturias 34.000 mineros, en 1940 había 52.000, en 1980 la cifra bajó a 22.000 y en 1990 a 18.000 gracias todo ello a los contratos programas, a día de hoy la empresa estatal Hunosa cuenta con una plantilla de 1.730 personas lo que abocaría a una muerte súbita y ya anunciada.

Yo trabaje en una mina de carbón y no puedo decir que soy minero porque jamás arranque carbón, pero mis sentimientos son de minero y siempre apoyare el carbón
