A very fine sixteen page wine list, in covers, printed at the Curwen Press in Plaistow for the Dorchester Hotel on London's Park Lane in 1949.
The Dorchester has long been regarded as one of London's premier hotels. It opened in 1931 and quickly became popular with a very high class clientele; during the War it was regarded as one of the capital's 'safest' buildings due to it construction. The Wine List is beautifully typeset and decorated in a design associated with Curwen.
This page shows some of the German Rhine and Moselle wines; it is interesting to see 'wartime' vintages back on the British market.

His project is the development of high signal-to-noise ratio ion probe with variable resistance for testing of Rotating Detonation Engines. In this project, Calvin is involved in designing an automated circuit for a probe to measure flow conductivity in a combustion experiment that will make adjustments based on the measurement environment. In addition, he will utilize existing and possible new data to help train a neural network in order to provide a measure of combustion stability.
