In this photo I used high light exposure to make the picture look peaceful.

Assignment 1. This is a tealight candle in a candle-burner. I like the way this draws your eye in.

GAF Photography 2007: Assignment Thread 30: Green. From where I was staying on vacation in Florida, I could see a group of catamarans beached just off a public beach in some foliage. Thinking of the theme, I went down to take some pictures, but none of them worked for me. What I really needed was a long tele to take what I could see from my balcony. Walking back I was playing with my new lens, checking out various apertures, thinking maybe of getting a all-bokeh shot of the foliage. That's when I saw the single yellow flower. At my feet. Just off the sand. And amongst the, as I was just finding out, damned prickly foliage.

My assignment for Michele was to use the following items in her work:
