I used the black and white photograph overlooking the building from the north side. I worked with the paintbrush to line the grass areas of the photograph to enhance the hue/saturation of the image bring about a vivid color to the grass. I perform the same procedure for the building’s rotunda and fresh water giving a pleasant color form by adjusting the lighting’s shadow/highlights and brightness to bring forth a vivid picture to the eye.
The final altered photograph shows bright pleasant colors concentrating primarily on the major nature settings which are the water and the grass. The building rotunda is painted in golden to offset the higher point of the picture thus captivating the skyline. The crystal blue of the water gives me a feeling of being pure when I see it. The new photographs bring the color objects to life.

My third assignment was to show a certain someone how much i missed her while I was on the road. Honey, I got up on stage in front of a live audience at a Jazz Club and sang It Had To Be You. Did i mention I get serious anxiety when I have to speak in public. Imagine trying to sing. :)
I did this as an assignment swap with Noa. It was a question about if time ever stops. Her idea was a goldfish in a fishbowl because all they do is stay there and watch time go by. I took this a little further and tried to show the goldfish escaping time. I tried to do a white and black background representing the time.
Assignment #17 Boundaries
Protecting Nature: The Importance of Boundaries in State Parks.
Boundaries in state parks are essential for preserving our natural landscapes. They safeguard wildlife habitats, protect sensitive ecosystems, and help maintain the beauty of these spaces for everyone to enjoy. By guiding visitors along designated trails and limiting access to vulnerable areas, these boundaries ensure that the impact of human activity remains minimal, allowing future generations to experience these pristine environments. Striking the right balance between conservation and public enjoyment is key, making state park boundaries an important part of responsible stewardship of our natural world.
