No, not the guy in the hat, the guy standing up in the background (mouseover). I went to SunFest yesterday. This is s huge annual music and arts festival in downtown West Palm Beach and usually a good place for photos. So I see this dude in the red-white-blue funnyhat and start working to get a decent shot of him. I'm hoping for a interesting group of people that will add some context. I take about a dozen shot from different angles then decide it's not a great subject and start to walk away when Mr. Asshole comes over to me and says, "What are you doing...you're creeping people out taking pictures" I said "What?!" He walks closer with his wife in tow and says, "You're creeping people out taking pictures of girls and kids. Every time kids walk by I see you taking pictures." I said "Excuse me, I am taking pictures of the guy in the hat". He comes even closer and starts getting in my face. There is a security guy in a golf cart nearby and he looks over to him and says "this guy is over there taking pictures of kids, I think you should call a cop" The security guy was cool and just wanted to defuse the situation so I walked over and sat down in his golf cart and said, "yeah, I think you should call a cop". Knowing full well what my rights are and knowing that this asshole didn't have a clue of what I was actually seeing in-camera, I knew I would be vindicated, which I was. What I was not prepared for was the first question the cop asked when he arrived. "Are you a sexual offender?" I said "What?????" He repeated, "are you a registered sexual offender?" I said "Noooo, I'm a photographer. And I have a perfect right to take photographs in a public place" The cop asked for my drivers license and got on his walkie talkie. After about a minute he handed it back to me and said, "okay you can go, sorry for the inconvenience". He went over to talk to asshole and I sort of sneered over my shoulder as I walked away.
In retrospect I am satisfied with the outcome of what could have been a bad situation. But in some ways I am furious with myself for not just telling the asshole to f@*ck off and mind his own business. This happened just days after Kate Cooper's incident in the UK.
Anyway, here is a gallery of ten of the dozen shots I took of the hat guy. Judge for yourself how the asshole could remotely think I was taking pix of women and children. I didn't even realize the he was watching me the whole time until I looked through the shots.
I won't pretend to speculate at the motivation here. But I should at least try to find out if the airlines are subjected to the same indignities.
This car makes me think of Mel Brooks' movie Space Balls. "This is how an asshole would clean his window." Fortunately in Virginia, legislation is being considered to ticket people who endanger the community by not properly cleaning off their vehicle.
So Annie and I were doing a private RP on a sim called Smokey Hills out of no where the sim owner (Andy) decided to turn on sim health and let his friend kill us. He also then banned Annie because she asked him to tell the guy to stop, there was literally no other reason.

Jordan Henley: I'm sorry but how is it at all fair to ban people for asking someone to stop ejecting them for no reason..
Jordan Henley: it's not wonder your sim is closing when you treat people like that
Andy Harper: sorry bud you caught us on a bad day

Andy Harper: thanks for visiting, but sim won't be open to the public here soon
Jordan Henley: i understand that
Andy Harper: this event is a symbolic way for staff to close the sim
Jordan Henley: but you said it was alright for us to RP there to Annie and now it seems like that wasn't at all true

Andy Harper: that and relieving months of built up frustrations dealing with the public
Andy Harper: i talked to Annie yes, and sorry that was cut short, but community RPs will take precedence over public, non-cannon rps
Jordan Henley: we were literally almost done and now we can't even finish rping because Michael wouldn't leave us alone, and I understand that your community comes first, but that isn't fair

It's absolutely no wonder that their sim is closing down next month when they treat RPers like this.. It's also funny because Andy has "I'm a happy person, so please, don't piss on my parade. Enjoy your day! :D" and "Please, don't be a dick, be kind to each other!" in his profile.. yeah, you seem really happy and really not a dick. -_-
Anyway thanks if anyone actually read through all of this, and sorry for the rant but I'm annoyed.
