Assam Police Constable Admit Card 2016, Assam Police Exam 2016: Assam Police department announced the notification to conduct the written exam for constable post. Your permission letter will be displayed on the screen. You can print the admit card for exam. Your exam date, exam center and other details will be printed in exam permission letter. You have to carry your exam admit card for permission in exam hall.

In view of the upcoming Ambubachi festival, the district administration has issued a set of regulations. DC Kamrup Metro, Pallav Gopal Jha released these regulations on Tuesday.
The Kamrup Metropolitan District administration has arranged for the accommodation of devotees at four temporary camps. These are located at the Pandu Port, Kamakhya Railway Station and Sonaram Field respectively. Police personnel deployed at the camp will ensure the safety and security of the people in these camps.
The administration has deployed a large number of police personnel to secure the Kamakhaya Devalaya. About 800 volunteers and personnel from other agencies will augment the police force. These people will engage in security as well as crowd management duties during the Ambubachi Mahayoga. They have also engaged members of the Scouts and Guides, Civil Defense and private security firms.
The district administration, police and health departments have set up three joint control rooms. These are located at the Kamakhya Cutting at the foothill, Prashanti Lodge on the way to the temple and the VIP parking area near the temple premise. Police will also set up eight additional assistance booths on the way to the temple. The district administration have also installed CCTV cameras across the Nilachal Hill.
Facilities of drinking water, resting sheds and medical booths have also been arranged for the devotees.
Assam Police has published a set of restrictions for the days when IPL matches in the ACA Stadium of Barsapara in Guwahati on April 5 and 8. The following are the details of the same.
Commercial goods carrying vehicles with 4 wheels and above restricted on NH-27 and NH-17 falling under city limits from 11 AM of 5 April to 1 AM of 6 April and 5 AM to 10 PM on 8 April. Commercial goods carrying vehicles with 3 wheels and above restricted on AK Azad Road and AK Dev Road 1 PM to 11. 45 PM on 5 April and 11 AM to 10 PM on 8 April.
A.K. Azad Road (Lakhra Road) will be one way between 3 PM to 11:45 PM on 5 April and from 11.30 AM to 10 PM on 8 April. Vehicles will move from the Cycle Factory side towards Lakhra Chariali. Vehicles will not be allowed to enter from Lakhra Chariali except car pass holders for the match, school buses and emergency vehicles.
Barsapara Road from Barsapara Tiniali to Dhirenpara Tiniali will be one way and open for vehicles with car passes only from 3 PM to 11:45 PM on 5 April and from 11.30 AM to 10 PM on 8 April. There will be no entry of vehicles from Dhirenpara Tiniali towards Barsapara Stadium.
Entry gates to the Barsapara Cricket Stadium on 5 and 8 April are as follows. Gate No- 1B is earmarked for the invitees only with car passes. They will enter via A. K. Azaz Road to Barshapara Tiniali to Barshapara Stadium.
For Gate No. 2 viewers of the IPL matches will enter via Barsapara Tiniali (AK Azad Road).

The DC and Police Commissioner of Guwahati addressed a press meet today. This was regarding the rules and regulations for the upcoming Ambubachi Mela. Guwahati Police have released a traffic advisor for the Ambubachi Mela 2023. The traffic advisory was released by the Guwahati Police Commissioner Diganta Barah on Tuesday. And these restrictions will be in play from June 22 to June 26. Also, the following are the key details of the traffic advisory.
Vehicles will not be allowed to enter the main road leading to the temple at the foot of Nilachal Hill. Only ferry vehicles, vehicles with essential services, and vehicles belonging to the temple authorities and the local residents who are authorized by the district administration will be allowed.
No commercial goods-carrying vehicles will be allowed to ply on DG Road, MG Road and AT Road. This restriction will apply to heavy, medium and small commercial vehicles on these days. 3-wheeler commercial goods-carrying vehicles will be allowed to ply from 12 AM to 6 AM.
Inter-district and long-distance buses will not be allowed on DG Road, MG Road and AT Road. ASTC-operated buses are also included in this restriction.
Vehicles from the Maligaon side will drop the devotees at Kamakhya Gate and park at Sonaram Field. And the vehicles from the Bharalumukh side will also drop the devotees at Kamakhya Gate and park at the Adabari bus stand or Boripara field.
No vehicles will be allowed to ply on the newly constructed road.
