"A ginger root gnome is called a ginger gnome for short. A ginger gnome family as shown below usually has four to eight members. An adult specimen (250 years old) measures no more than eight centimeters in length. His skin color varies from ginger beige, yellow to deep brown shades. In the drawing below, the parents are dressed in traditional costumes. However, today's ginger gnome increasingly dresses in camouflage clothing. Just like headgear and footwear, this is often made from animal and vegetable material. This is mainly due to the recent re-introduction of the Wild Wurf, a very dangerous wolf-like predator that includes ginger gnomes on its menu."

Michael Rawling’s Elemental Series: Miami uses Film and Found Materials at the pictures’ location to create a new types of land- & cityscapes.
Liquid, organic and mineral samples are collected at the site of the photograph - from the very place depicted within the photograph - and bonded with the film over 6-12 months: the resulting image created more deeply representative of the world we experience.

C'est un écorché de l’art moderne,un travailleur acharné au service d’une sensibilité abstraite. Il est sans doute l’un des peintres les plus mystérieux du XXe siècle. Sa carrière aura la fulgurance d’un météore, dont la course se terminera à Antibes, où il se suicidera à l’âge de 41 ans. Cette fin tragique occulte quelque peu la figure d’un artiste en constant questionnement, inspiré par la couleur et la lumière, fiévreux d’écriture comme de peinture. Une vie de romantique au XXe siècle.

Nicolas de Stael is one of my favorite painters. He was born in St Petersburg in 1913 and died in Antibes in 1955.
He is a flayed of modern art, a hard worker in the service of an abstract sensibility. He is undoubtedly one of the most mysterious painters of the 20th century. His career will have the dazzling effect of a meteor, whose race will end in Antibes, where he will commit suicide at the age of 41. This tragic end somewhat obscures the figure of an artist in constant questioning, inspired by color and light, feverish in writing as in painting. A romantic life in the 20th century.

One early Autumn morning the mystic pond beast of the Far East woke up to the sight of a silent painted turtle blissfully basking in the sun, perched perfectly on top of its big bumpy snout. Lately, the beast had been feeling the weight of the world falling down heavily upon its mighty shoulders, but was reminded by the little turtle that it was important to take some time out to relax and recharge. Splotch Monster for Ukraine. Last night, while watching the news in my hotel room in NYC, with Anderson Cooper covering the devastation and destruction in the Ukraine on CNN, I felt compelled to create a Splotch Monster to sell and raise some money to help the Ukrainian people, in some small way. In fact, I was going to post it for sale for $50, postage covered, today, but a good friend and fan already decided to buy it. Seeing what was going on, especially witnessing the moms and doctors tending to children with cancer, all hiding out in the basement of a major Ukrainian hospital, as Russian forces indiscriminately bombarded civilian infrastructure, broke my heart.
