The Winter fallen leaves slid into the ground silently, merged together with the remanent mud and transformed as the nutrition of new Spring.
My heart was lost & fade away like the fallen leave , but where will the heart be toward? Maybe just like the moth transfer into the beautiful butterfly, and waiting for the right moment to achieve the gorgegous in life.
Life is a learning process, and sometimes just need to be patience & get ready to wait for the right moment for tranformation.

These pieces are from a series of 6 that I did in a workshop earlier in the year.
Lesson, take any 3 colors and black and white. Apply paint in a way that is fun. Make any marks, do more of what you enjoy. Time limit of 30 minutes.
It gave me a base that I liked at the end of the 30 minutes which I finalized later. Actually, the finalization took me some time as I didn't want to destroy the originals. All of the pieces are similar because of the colors and theme, but each is different and stands on its own (I think).
The title of the series of 6 is "Universal Longing".
I can't get rid of the cold. I have sore throat from a cold. I am getting worried, cause I have caughed since last December.

I recently discovered a watercolorist that captured my attention completely, Hubert Shuptrine. I now have his oversized book and when the day becomes a bit too trying, I relax by studying his paintings. I photographed his still life to create my own version of a basket of apples as an introduction to the autumn season.
