This photo was taken inside Anuga Food Fair, hall No. 5: Fine Food Section.
ANUGA is an international display-only food exhibition that is held every two years at the Koelnmesse Grounds and organized by Koelnmesse GmbH, having their HQ in Cologne City - Germany. There, you will see a large number of companies exhibiting almost everything food-related in various display styles and stands; either in regular or customized setup. The regular stand is offered by the organizer according to allocated space, while the customized one is completely set up by the exhibitor through outsourcing.
This outstanding, eye-catchy, red-themed customized stand belongs to a company named Lee Kum Kee. They were displaying a wide range of authentic Asian sauces, marinades and seasoning mix to use in cooking. Apparently, its a Hong Kong based company with many overseas branches.

At the yearly Ajijic Regatta de Globos event: helping hands to support the chinese paper ballon while it's been inflated with hot air from a burning torch which has been dunked in gasoline and then lit!!
YES - very flammable the entire event!!!
Many, for hours painfully glued together paper constructions burn up before they even get launched... others burn up once the wind catches- and tilt's the balloon, especially the bad designed ones....... and then .......... some do make it ........ flying high... up up.... over the mountains and then burn, dropping the gasoline soaked flaming ring into the growth of shrubs and cactus somewhere on the mountain.... or onto the roof of someone's house!!!! Therefore this event is always scheduled right at the end of the rainy season. The one ballon that flies the highest and furthest away is the WINNER (((:

The Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco is a masterful example of early 20th-century Beaux-Arts architecture. Originally constructed for the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition, this grand structure was designed by architect Bernard Maybeck. Inspired by Roman and Greek classical architecture, the monumental rotunda features Corinthian columns and intricate friezes that tell a story of artistic and cultural ambition. While the original structure was not built to last, it was reconstructed with more durable materials in the 1960s, ensuring its preservation. Set amidst a tranquil lagoon and lush greenery, this space now serves as a peaceful retreat and an open-air gallery for visitors to admire.
The dome, with its intricate patterns and grand scale, draws the eye upward, reflecting Maybeck’s vision of blending natural surroundings with architectural splendor. Its reflection in the lagoon creates a picture-perfect scene that has been the backdrop for countless weddings, films, and photographs. Though the Palace no longer hosts the art exhibits for which it was originally designed, its timeless design continues to inspire awe. The surrounding colonnades, with their solemn elegance, add depth and symmetry to the entire setting. Whether strolling around the grounds or enjoying the serene water views, the Palace of Fine Arts offers a glimpse into San Francisco’s architectural heritage and its role in world expositions.
Prada Aoyama Tokyo, a striking architectural icon in Tokyo’s fashion-forward Omotesando district, is the epitome of avant-garde design. Conceived by Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron, this unique glass structure was completed in 2003 and quickly became a landmark of modern architecture in Japan. The six-story building stands out with its distinctive diamond-patterned glass façade, a design that not only elevates its aesthetic appeal but also symbolizes Prada’s commitment to innovation and luxury.
The diamond grid of glass panels is both concave and convex, creating an illusion of movement and depth, reflecting the surroundings in mesmerizing ways as natural light shifts throughout the day. This design provides glimpses into the luxurious interior, enticing passersby with a peek into Prada’s world while maintaining an air of exclusivity. Inside, the open layout and unconventional spaces enhance the shopping experience, allowing visitors to feel as though they’re exploring an art gallery rather than a conventional retail store.
Located in the Omotesando area, an upscale shopping and design hub, Prada Aoyama Tokyo stands amidst other architectural marvels, but its bold, futuristic design distinguishes it from neighboring structures. Herzog & de Meuron’s approach to creating a transparent yet complex structure represents a fusion of Japanese minimalism with global architectural trends, making Prada Aoyama not only a shopping destination but a cultural and artistic experience. For architecture enthusiasts, fashion lovers, and curious travelers alike, Prada Aoyama Tokyo offers a perfect snapshot of Tokyo’s blend of tradition, innovation, and style.
