In a world of speed and precision, one photographer finds stillness in the geometry of the scene. The sleek lines of the Porsche Museum intertwine with the silent observer, capturing a moment where architecture and artistry collide. A stairway becomes a stage, a lens a gateway—perspective is everything.
A faithful dalmation never leaves his post guading an old summer house on the Praia de Faro.
The eastern end (este) of Praia de Faro is known for its charming yet weathered shanty-style buildings that line the beach, giving it a distinct, almost nostalgic character. These structures were originally built as holiday homes and fishing huts by locals in the mid-20th century, before strict building regulations were enforced. Constructed with minimal resources, many of these shacks were built by hand, using whatever materials were available, reflecting a time when the island was less accessible and far from the tourist crowds.
Over the years, these quirky, often colorful beach houses have become emblematic of the laid-back, bohemian vibe of Praia de Faro, contrasting sharply with the more polished resorts found elsewhere along the Algarve coast. However, because they were built without proper permits, many of these buildings face ongoing threats of demolition. The government has been intermittently enforcing coastal protection laws to restore the natural landscape, especially since Praia de Faro is part of the protected Ria Formosa Natural Park.
The community's attempts to preserve these shanty homes have turned into a tug-of-war between heritage and environmental protection, leaving the future of these unique structures uncertain. Despite their dilapidated appearance, these buildings add to the rustic charm of the area and remain a nostalgic reminder of a simpler time, beloved by locals and photographers alike.

The scene resembles a masterfully drawn landscape, evoking a sense of artistic wonder in nature's canvas.
captured in the warm afternoon light of inca, this playful assembly from a playground series takes on an abstract art form. the vibrant seats, each a different hue – red, green, blue, and purple – are splattered with sunlight and shadow, creating a lively rhythm across the image. the curving metal line that connects them invites the eye to dance along its path. this image is not just a capture of playground equipment, but a celebration of color, light, and the joyous spirit of childhood spaces. the shadows stretch and bend, adding depth and intrigue, as if the ground itself plays along, echoing the laughter and movement once present here.

on the bustling gran ví-a, where chaos usually drowns whispers, a single man walks slow and deliberate. his hands folded behind his back, his gaze hidden. the shadow of a lamppost rises tall, cast like a sentinel guarding a bygone era. the textured wall beside him, marked with ornate designs, speaks of patience and permanence. sunlight slices the scene, dividing light from dark, stillness from movement. a fleeting pause amidst madrid´s relentless rhythm.

In a quiet moment between sunlight and stillness, I stumbled upon this tiny masterpiece
a single peacock feather, shimmering like the universe paused to paint it.
It’s a whisper of elegance.
A reminder that beauty often hides in the details we overlook.
The blooms (or should I say dead blooms) from the previous post...mirrored and layered on top of each other!
I loved that it formed a tiara (well that's what it looks like to me)...that is so me.....I always say that I should've been born into royalty lol...maybe in my next life hehehe...

Hello dear friends...happy weekend to you all.
We are all one link in the chain called Life...when we realize this, we will love unconditionally!
We are all connected. lt is through our connection that what we co-create in life and what we give our attention, is that which is magnified!
If we tug on the chain, the stress we place on it, will vibrate back to us.
If we just BE...don’t pull or push...don’t try to control...we shall all, benefit.
With Love

n the labyrinth of palma’s streets, this image captures the surreal intersection of time and reality. a window display filled with clocks reflects the passersby, blending their fleeting presence with the perpetual tick of timepieces. the metal grid creates a visual barrier, adding a layer of complexity and confinement to the scene. the juxtaposition of the solid stone walls and the transparent glass speaks to the coexistence of permanence and transience in urban life. this black-and-white composition highlights the ever-present, often unnoticed, dialogue between the momentary and the eternal.
This is some abstract art from a palm tree...this photo and the last two photo are all sooc...no effects applied....
Today was the busiest day I've had in a very long time...I had four appointments but one of them was a fun one...
I went on a photo shoot with Theen, (in her lunch hour) my flickr buddy I met a few weeks ago...it's always fun going with her because we feed off each other...she comes up with some great ideas for shots that, I might not have thought of and vice versa...it's great to see how we take photos of the same subjects, yet they are so different...
This palm tree had so much potential for abstract art, the photo prior to this is also from the same tree...
I hope you enjoy!
Have a great night
Nat :)
PS consider viewing in all sizes to appreciate the details!

This is one of shots I took on my outing with Theen.
Theen pointed out these interesting drips of a corrugated fence, it looked like something had dripped from the othe side...I loved the pattern, I thought it was very arty, so I took a few shots...this is the one that made the final cut!
Have a magical weekend everyone!

I am a tree planted by the waters, whose leaves shall not wither
A tree standing in the heart of winter at Haukilahti Harbour, Espoo, Finland. In a beautiful garden by the water, its branches reaching toward the sky, despite the season’s chill. Seeing it immediately brought to mind

My friend Theen, whom I met for a coffee, a walk and a litlle photo shoot also took some shots of this and I can't wait to see them!
I hope you appreciate the wonderful creativity in this work of art by Mother Nature, as much as I do...she definetly is, my idol when it comes to art!

PS A diversity of life can co-exist happily...and when it does, it creates masterpieces!
In the afternoon sun, a beautiful girl with long, silky black hair gracefully poses on the road, wearing a traditional black Vietnamese dress and holding a bamboo fan, surrounded by bamboo branches.
I love when my 4 year old clients "show up" for their session, and know how to pose :) Don't you?
