EVOLVED - I resurrected an 8 month old creation from a now defunct SD 2.1, with a rat tail of different prompts - something I tried first on Dreamshaper v8 but it didn't compute - anyway, I switched to Real Cartoon, and it worked.
I love the idea, it is more like my old basic surreal crazy stuff! I am trying this several more times. Stay tuned!

The evolve chain goes back two steps, the original iteration was text only. However, Char Design is a Community Lora, so this one is not eligible for entry in Challenges. Well, it doesn't break my heart - I rarely put stuff into Challenges anymore.
What I am questioning though about this image is the taste of Loki in his selection of mates.

Yes, I’m being facetious… I love the incredible pace of technology development we are living in the midst of. But you have to admit, there are genuine and growing causes for concern for our survival.
AI’s problem solving skills on one hand, and cures from lab-generated embryonic cells on the other, separately or together, have the power to serve all humankind. But where do we go next? What comes from next generations of generative-AI and lab-generated-embryos from this stream of bio/medical research & development?
These two alone or combined without control are scary enough. But these two technologies along with all the biological and nuclear weapons we stockpile on our planet, in the hands of madmen like Putin, Kim, or Netanyahu, or even egomaniacs like Musk, are guaranteed to be catastrophic.
With our track record as a self-destructive species, where do you think these developments will take us? Could 2023 be the start of our self-initiated extinction?

For the prompt and the title I took the clue from an old analog drawing of mine. But I expanded the prompt with a description of another painting from the eighties, which included all kinds of sea creatures as uniform decorations.
The first image in this series was created with Contemporary Surreal. Much later I duplicated it , text only, for a challenge.
I liked the idea so much, I ran several different versions in different modes, some with text only, some with a seed image. The results were largely very interesting, so eventually I made a special collection for it.
