In one corner of the world, the hills are made of yellow plush and the curved lines draw invisible paths.
In one of them, a golfer prepares to hit the ball: his world is movement, precision and desire to excel.
In another, an older couple rests in silence under the trees: their world is calm, tenderness and shared time.
They do not touch, but they complement each other.
Because that is what life is: a back and forth between play and rest, between beginning and calm.
En una de ellas, un golfista se prepara para golpear la bola: su mundo es movimiento, precisión y deseo de superación.
En otra, una pareja mayor descansa en silencio bajo los árboles: su mundo es calma, ternura y tiempo compartido.
No se tocan, pero se complementan.
Porque la vida es eso: un vaivén entre el juego y el descanso, entre el comienzo y el sosiego.
There’s something deeply meditative about returning to the work of your hands. After a long pause, I picked up my brush and sculpting tools to create this miniature fiddle leaf fig—leaf by leaf, detail by detail. It reminded me that even in stillness, creativity patiently waits to bloom again.
So happy to be back in my element—sculpting, painting, imagining.
