Short ago Nick Jr Worldwide renewed its image, and we where part of the pitch process along with our friends from FriendsWithYou. Although we weren't selected, we are happy we enjoyed the creation process and the beautiful world we created with characters full color and happiness.

Welcome tho the world of Nick Jr that was not meant to be. Or might it be in the future?

Still Frame from "K.R.E.S." Animated Video by V5MT, August 2015.

Released on September 2015, with music track by Kevin Carey.

Fort Pitt was built in 1758 during the French and Indian War, near the site of the abandoned and destroyed Fort Duquesne. The French built Fort Duquesne at the beginning of that war, and it became a focal point due to its strategic location on the Allegheny River, Monongahela River, and Ohio River. In 1755, General Braddock’s expedition attempted to take Fort Duquesne, but was repulsed at the Monongahela River. The French garrison ferociously attacked a British regiment in September 1758, but later destroyed and abandoned the fort with the approach of General John Forbes’ expedition in November. General Forbes’ expedition was successful because of the Treaty of Easton, when area American Indians agreed to abandon their alliance with the French. American Indians (primarily Delawares and Shawnees) made this agreement with the understanding that the British military would create a Trading Post, but the military would leave the area after the war. Of course instead, being strategically important, the British built a new fort on the site. They named it Fort Pitt, after William Pitt the Elder. This resulted in the 1763 rebellion of the local Delawares and Shawnees, called Pontiac's Rebellion. The Indians' siege of Fort Pitt began on June 22, 1763, but the fort was too fortified to be taken. During negotiation while under siege, the commander of Fort Pitt gave two Delaware emissaries blankets that had been exposed to smallpox. He hoped to infect the surrounding Indians, and end the siege. It is not sure if the attempt was successful, as the Native Americans broke the siege to attack Colonel Henry Bouquet’s relief force. Colonel Bouquet relieved the Fort on August 10th.

Sedona

Located in Arizona's high desert under the towering southwestern rim of the vast Colorado Plateau, the city of Sedona is blessed with four mild seasons marked by abundant sunshine and clean air. Ideally, the annual average high and low temperatures are 74.7 and 45.7 degrees, respectively.

Almost the entire world knows that Sedona, strategically situated at the mouth of spectacular Oak Creek Canyon, is a unique place. Characterized by massive red-rock formations, as well as the contrasting riparian areas of Oak Creek Canyon, the area surrounding this beloved community is considered at least as beautiful as many national parks.

The story about how Sedona was named is well known; nonetheless, a brief telling is appropriate. As the story goes, after Theodore Carl Schnebly and his wife, Sedona, moved to Sedona from Gorin, Missouri, the few families living here convinced T.C. to establish a post office in his large home, which already had become the community's hotel. Various interpretations of this story suggest that he asked the government to name the post office Schnebly Station or Red Rock Crossing. Subsequently, he was told the names were too long, and following a suggestion by his brother, Dorsey Ellsworth Schnebly, he submitted his wife's name, Sedona. And so it was.

The city of Sedona, one of Arizona's premier tourism, recreation, resort, retirement and art centers, was incorporated in 1988. Historically, it was a rural ranching community located far off the beaten path, but its unsurpassed natural beauty became nationally known through the motion picture industry. Today, commercials and television shows still are filmed in the unsettled areas surrounding this city, which annually attracts more than 4 million tourists from around the world.
