Manos Babounis is an architect based in Athens, Greece specialising in furniture design, interior design, architecture but also project management. The visual identity is mainly composed of different linear graphics, that represent the structure, the multidiscipline character of the designer, applied in vivid monochromatic surface, that enhance the dynamic of his body of work. The identity applications vary from the basic stationary to promotional material, such as brochure, poster and A5 cards. Part of the identity has also been the website, which works as a showcase. The main design elements of the website is a grid on the right, which hosts all the projects (archive), the main part in the middle, which works as a spine of the body of work (projects), and the left part which informs the visitor on further information (about). As a result, all the information needed is in the front, with no further depth, referring to the navigation, which makes it easy navigating and also communicates immediately the different focused areas of the designer.

Toolkit for participating study sites to recruit patients for the CARE-MS II study. Materials included patient recruitment brochure and poster, as well as a brochure, eligibility card and appointment reminder card for physician use. A coordinating toolkit was produced for the CARE-MS I study, and both were adapted for use in multiple countries and languages.
The study, which targeted mainly women, was branded with muted accent colors and a soft pattern to stand out among other clinical trial materials. The recruitment campaign saw record enrollment.
An exercise in collaboration, Communication Design students of this elective worked on projects in small groups as little as 2 and as large as 10. Through it all they functioned based on their expertise as photographers, stylists, photo retouchers, video editors, writers, and most importantly to this class- as art directors. Focus was on product advertising, Fashion editorial and music video production.

Last month I came in as a graphics director slash art director slash illustrator for Bloomberg's year end issue. The entire magazine told the story of 2010 in mostly charts but also with photos and essays sprinkled in. I'm putting together a video of the entire issue but here are some snapshots for blogability sake.

Point of View (by Jim West) depicts George Washington and the Seneca leader Guyasuta, their weapons down, in a face-to-face meeting in October 1770. The two met while Washington was examining land for the future settlement along the Ohio River.

La plate-forme numérique est le plus important canal de communication pour une clinique de soins esthétiques. La crédibilité de ceux-ci passe par un site Internet qui présente évidemment leur offre de service et leur équipe médicale mais aussi assoie la marque sur un socle solide et crédible. Ainsi, la plateforme digitale du Dr Jean Gilbert à été conçue à la fois pour mieux communiquer leur services mais aussi pour projeter une image à la hauteur de leur expertise médicale. Une meilleure intégration des réseaux sociaux leur assurer aussi un lien plus constant avec leur patients.
I just completed another case study on my portfolio, this one covers the design and development of an apparel line, from the t-shirt graphics and photoshoot direction to concept and design for a pop-up store displayed during brand activations.
