🇫🇷 Egirdir est une petite ville d'un peu plus de 20000 habitants( nombre pas récent) située au bord du Lac du même nom .L'eau provient essentiellement des pluies et de la fonte des neiges et elle reste douce comme celles du lac de Beyşehir. C'est le quatrième lac naturel de Turquie par la taille avec une superficie de 570 km2 Le lac est divisé en deux parties par le détroit de Hoyran qui ne fait que 1,5 km de largeLa partie méridionale est la plus importante et forme le lac d'Eğirdir, la partie septentrionale s'appelle lac de Hoyran
🇬🇧 Egirdir is a small town of just over 20,000 inhabitants (not a recent figure) on the shores of the lake of the same name. The water comes mainly from rain and snowmelt and is as fresh as Lake Beyşehir. With a surface area of 570 km2, it is the fourth largest natural lake in Turkey. The lake is divided into two parts by the Hoyran Strait, which is only 1.5 km wide. The southern part is the larger and forms Lake Eğirdir, while the northern part is called Lake Hoyran.

El lago está dividido en dos partes por el estrecho de Hoyran, que apenas mide 1,5 km de ancho. La parte sur es la más grande y forma el lago Egirdir, mientras que la parte norte se llama lago Hoyran.

Il lago è diviso in due parti dallo stretto di Hoyran, largo appena 1,5 km: la parte meridionale è la più grande e forma il lago Eğirdir, mentre la parte settentrionale è chiamata lago Hoyran.

Calaceite est un village pittoresque , un musée à ciel ouvert , comme beaucoup de ces villages du sud-est de l' Aragon dans la province de Teruel !
De nombreuses demeures seigneuriales avec leurs balcons et leurs armoiries nobles bordent les ruelles pavées , préservant au mieux le style médiéval qui caractérise cette région .
The Guilford infiltration of the Delaware & Hudson is well under way as two Maine Central GP38’s and a Boston & Maine GP40-2 lead a northbound D&H train at Dyes, New York.
C&NW train 164 arrives in Randolph, Minn. on the former CGW main May 4, 1980. Within a few month these trains will be rerouted to the parallel ex-Rock Island, and within two years this line will be pulled up. The FP7 will survive as a display at Oelwein.

The St Ann's Catholic Church. Located on Mackinac Island, between Michigan's Lower & Upper Peninsulas. The island allows no motorized vehicles. Here it is presented as an impressionist painter might have shown it years ago.
Today the weather was wonderful, so I went to the forrest. The conditions to take this shot of the fungus were difficult, because there was not enough light, but I tied the strap of my camera to a nearby branche and took the shot.
Lisbon is one of the oldest cities in the world and the second-oldest European capital city (after Athens), predating other modern European capitals by centuries.

Europe, Portugal, Algarve, Sotavento, Olhão, Graffiti, Station. CP458, Passengers (slightly cut from all sides)
A new Olhão series must start with a CP diesel passenger train ánd some institutional graffiti (author: SEN, it's part of his dog series), since Olhão is the street art centre of the Algarve.
The train is a CP 450 series DMU (in CP parlance: Unidade Dupla Diesel, meaning "Double Diesel Unit"), built in 1965 & 1966 (then called the 400 series) and renovated in 1999 by SOREFAME. They are equipped with two 14 L 6-cylinder Cummins NTA 855 - R3 diesel engines (Total output: 2 x350 kW).
Next year (presumably), these trains will, alas, be replaced by EMUs (Electric Multiple Units) of the 2240 series, which are currently in use on other parts of the CP network.

Ich war mit 560mm Brennweite unterwegs, weil ich eigentlich Wasservögel fotografieren wollte. Das klappte leider nicht mangels Kooperationsbereitschaft der Vögel. 😊
