The 80th Training Command Family Programs created their own version of a Back-to- School Backpack Brigade by enlisting the help of the special staff, including Soldiers from the Staff Judge Advocate and Inspector General sections, to fill backpacks with fun, colorful school supplies for children of military families returning to school this week.

Sgt. 1st Class Rodrick W. Brown, of the 80th Training Command, climbed 110 flights of stairs in the 2018 Richmond 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb on Sept. 9 at the Sun Trust Center in Richmond, Virginia. The 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb is a way to honor and remember the New York Fire Department firefighters, police, and Emergency Medical Services who selflessly gave their lives so others might live when the World Trade Center was attacked Sept. 11, 2001.
