"The only cities were of ice, bergs with cores of beryl, blue gems within white gems, that some said gave off an odor of almonds.” Annie Proulx - The Shipping News
Waaaaaay back in the day Edward lost his left arm and it was replaced by a mechanical one (see bottom right). Back then it was one I made myself and I had to use invisiprims to hide the arm underneath.
Fast forward to the amazing results available with mesh and bento. This superb item was given away as a freebie at the Engine Room event by [ContraptioN] who have been creating amazing steampunk related stuff for years now.
How far we've come
After a few miles, much of our second day consisted of trails like this - a bit above the lake, with views of the Southeast Arm looking into the Thorofare ahead.

The eastern harbour arm at the entrance to The Port of Newhaven, East Sussex. My intention was to get some of those enticing 10 stop exposures for a milky sea but it was as calm as a mill pond. Not even any waves!

Last night I headed up to Arms Tor on Dartmoor for sunset, it was more of a scouting mission as I've never been there before but it was a lovely evening. There wasn't much cloud in the sky at sunset so there wasn't much colour, but as this was a scouting mission I didn't really mind. I met up with Dianne Giles, Another Dartmoor photographer and we had a good chat while getting our photos.
It's another new tor bagged for me, each time I head up the moors now I'm trying to get to a different location so I can explore more of the moor.

Stu was exercising and Shizandra put her head in the curve of his arm. She is quite a character!

Today, my 96 year old father peacefully passed from this life into the next. This is a digital painting from a photo taken in 2014 with my mother and father walking down a path, arm in arm the way they walked through life and their 70 years of marriage.
I am so grateful for their example of love and devotion to one another, their family, and the Savior Jesus Christ.
