Robert Emmerich - 80 HDR Berliner Philharmonie during sunset in Berlin - Germany

This is the Berliner Philharmonie. I took that picture on a late summer day as a HDR shot during an upcoming storm. The Philharmonie is a concert hall and has that golden look in the night. I love this architecture and processed this version with Photoshop and Lightroom and took it with my Canon EOS 40D.

One of my self-assigned projects is to photograph architectural works while traveling. On a recent trip to San Diego, I went out to the Geisel Library on two separate occasions to photograph this incredible building. This was one of the last images I made of the building on the second night out.

The Geisel Library was designed by William Pereira and is near the center of the University of California San Diego campus. The library is named in honor of Audrey and Theodor Seuss Geisel (better known as Dr. Seuss). The tower is a prime example of brutalist architecture. It rises 8 stories to a height of 110 ft.
