Its a lot of fun to go back to some older Pictures and use new processing software and skills - I shot this one last year in the fall. This is a 32 bit HDR shot produced with Photomatix - The 32 bit workflow will give you a very clean picture without any tone mapping or compression as it is done in Photomatix directly. The result provides a very good (and huge) baseline to work with in ACR and Photoshop - so this is the work flow here. Doing HDR at night is some kind of hard and you never know what you will get - think this one turnes out to be very nice. (Picture shot with my Canon 40D)

The Tour Paradis, seen from upstream on the Meuse River on a late December afternoon, is one of Liège’s most striking landmarks. Also known as the Tour des Finances, it stands 136 meters tall with 27 floors, making it the tallest building in Wallonia and the sixth tallest in Belgium. Located near the Liège-Guillemins railway station, the tower was inaugurated in 2015 as an office building for the Belgian Federal Public Service Finance. While designed to consolidate employees from multiple sites, it has seen lower occupancy in recent years due to the rise of remote work - Liège, Belgium
