The Historic Ensemble of the Potala Palace is an outstanding work of human imagination and creativity, for its design, its decoration and its harmonious setting within a dramatic landscape. The three-in-one historic ensemble of the Potala Palace, with Potala the palace-fort complex, Norbulingka the garden residence and the Jokhang Temple Monastery the temple architecture, each with its distinctive characteristics, forms an outstanding example of traditional Tibetan architecture.
The Orang Belanda Cafe (Dutchman Cafe), complete with the Dutch cow and its signboard stating "You can pitcure, but Don't Touch Me. Thank You."

The Courtyard of Amenhotep III is surrounded by double rows of columns with closed papyrus capitals and bundle shaft.
Framed by the buildings of this unremarkable street is a spectacular view of the Tyne & Wear Metro bridge over the River Tyne.

Blue tiled windows on the roof was the science laboratory. The Headmasters office was on the ground floor wher the modern canopy is.

The Church contains over 7500 square meters of mosaics—according to its restorers, more than any other church in the world.
I absolutely loved the mosaics in here. They reached from floor all the way up to the highest highs. It was breathtaking.
Historic former U.S. Post Office in Westfield, Massachusetts. The Classical Revival style building was constructed 1912 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2013 as part of the Westfield Center Historic District (NRHP District #13000441).

Here's the view of the front of this beautiful building, nearby to the iconic St. Basil's, in Red Square.
I tried to take several angles beyond the usual postcard images, both day and night. One of my favorite Moscow images (below, 'here' in this album) is at night, with this lit up in a surreal purple light.
This is the front in bright daylight, under the filtered but cool winter-white sky.
