I was fortunate enough to attend the opening of this awesome show and see for myself what a successful gallery OhNo!Doom is :)

The show was amazing and the gallery was packed as you can see... so packed I wasn't able to take all the pictures I wanted, don't be mad ;)

I was able to get the PlushTeam Prize cage though and I even got myself a little prize... an adorable Q-bert made by Amy from SquirrelMomma :)

Thanks OhNo!Doom :)

David playing Galaga at the Belmont in Hamtramck, MI last night when we saw Javelins & Deastro. Such a fun night. The show was 18+ & I wouldn't be 18 for ten more days, but I'm pretty sure the woman at the door was at least a little tipsy because I showed her my id & she didn't even notice I wasn't 18 yet, haha. We brought a purple light saber for protection, listened to High School Musical on part of the way home, & got some T. Bell. :D Best night I've had in awhile.

EDIT: Featured in my high school's art show this past week.

My son and his girlfriend Tiffanie on the dancing game. I did not do this as I am too old and out of shape! :)

This picture contains two circuit boards from a Mylstar Laserdisc game called M.A.C.H. 3. It was a little difficult tracking down what games these were from, but after searching I determined that the top board is known as a "Filter Board" for the game and the bottom is part of the "power supply." I don't know if these are from the upright or cockpit version of this game.

The "General Strike" banner originated from the November 2nd response to the violent police raid of the first, peaceful Occupy Oakland camp.

It may get some reuse, as a global general strike on May 1st has been called for, in response to the continued police repression of popular resistance, of which Move-In Day is only one example.

They're still making these? But.. but.. the controls are so horribly awkward.

I'm not much of a gamer; I don't do well at most games. But Virtua Fighter in particular is just horrendously unintuitive.

See where this picture was taken. [?]

Another trip to Funspot in Laconia, NH in August of 2008

They totally defeated Shredder and saved the day, btw.

Data East 1989 RoboCop pinball machine restoration by Retro Refurbs

I was awesome at this game! Oh wait... I wasn't.

A vintage pinball machine stripped down and housed in a clear, acrylic cabinet so you can see how everything works.

Full House Events always knew that its latest take on corporate entertainment would be a hit, and now it's official. Its Common Man Games concept was awarded "New product that rocked the show" at Markex this week.

With games like Giant Jenga, retro arcade games and foosball, darts and table tennis, the Common Man Games is a great way to build camaraderie and client rapport, without having to resort to traipsing around golf courses or sloshing through mud in combat fatigues.
