Bench Monday

This lovely arbor and bench is at my neighbours.

This just passed over us and we got about 1/3 of an inch of rain and tons of lightning and thunder, but no tornadoes, thank goodness!! It's not over just yet. We are in for a bit more rain, but not as bad.

The genus of AI is amazing. You can either create a new photo or use one of your own and AI will give it a new look. I did that with this photo, I have an old arbor and bench in my front yard. I love the way AI dressed it up with some gorgeous pink roses.

The Neolithic henge of Arbor Low near Parsley Hay.

I spied a large Woodpecker high in the tree but I couldn’t get a clear shot. The clump in the lower left is a large nest. I think it belongs to the squirrel’s.

The Hardy Kiwi is nice and thick and it has some small fruits. I hope they get to mature this year.

I went outside and snapped this photo of my rustic arbour and bench. We are hoping for some blossoms on the Kiwi plants this year! Hopefully we will get some fruit on these as well.

I realized that I didn't take a close up photo of my wreath yet this year. I love how it looks on the arbor.

Brazilian Arbor Day (Dia da Árvore) is September 21. No better way to celebrate than with the fragrant blossoms of the native tree sapucaia (Lecythis pisonis), on a bed of recently fallen leaves.

Another CAMERADERIE challenge, a month long endeavour to face these extraordinary circumstances with a picture each day.

DAY 10 – Our little tree of happiness.

As the isolation obliges, I will be shooting details from my house and backyard, cropping all to squares. As it’s a single camera and a single lens type of challenge, I’ll be using only Fuji XE2 and Jupiter-8, a vintage 50mm f2 lens.
