We had so little snow this year but these big ice chunks came across Lake Huron and landed on our beach!! I am really puzzled at why they look so dirty!!

The Super Bloom is on at Carrizo Plain!

I recently returned from a one-day whirlwind trip to the Carrizo Plain. I was amazed by the poppy fields at Antelope Valley, but this place? On my! This was on a whole other level! The abundance of so many varieties of wildflowers was breathtaking. I have so many photos to go through and that is half the fun.

I just wanted to let you know that I am alive and well and home now but will be having cataract surgery on eye #2 tomorrow so will have to lay low for a few more days!! I am missing all of you and hope to be back to normal real soon!!
