One look at love and you may see
It weaves a web over mystery,
All ravelled threads can rend apart
For hope has a place in the lover's heart.
Hope has a place in a lover's heart.
Whispering world, a sigh of sighs,
The ebb and the flow of the ocean tides.
One breath, one word may end or may start
A hope in a place of the lover's heart.
Hope has a place in a lover's heart.
Look to love you may dream,
And if it should leave then give it wings.
But if such a love is meant to be;
Hope is home, and the heart is free
Under the heavens we journey far,
On roads of life we're the wanderers,
So let love rise, so let love depart,
Let hope have a place in the lover's heart.
Hope has a place in a lover's heart.
Look to love and you may dream,
And if it should leave then give it wings.
But if such a love is meant to be;
Hope is home, and the heart is free.
Hope is home, and the heart is free.

Snowdrops - beautiful place :)
You know you are a blessed man when a Summer Tanager comes in on you unannounced and poses perfectly for you and your group in perfect light…until you get tired of taking his picture!
I have photographed them a few other times, but they were much higher up in the trees and always severely cropped in. In this case, we were standing atop a hill observing/photographing a painted turtle lay her eggs and the limb he chose was high in the trees, but just some 30 feet strait out from us.
Taken at Scales Lake Park, Booneville Indiana on 24 May, 2022.

Boa - Only one
www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1L0qcWdR7g
You're the only one
As much as I loved you're the only one
It hurts and it hurts, but it's stupid
Even if I can't see you again, you're the only one, only one
sit awkwardly
Say hello with small talk
Sometimes when conversations are interrupted
The cold silence makes us freeze (make it)
In this place, we will be strangers
Some will remain in tears
I keep trying not to hurt you
I hate how you look so I'll let you go
My love, goodbye now you're the only one (you're the only one)
Even at this moment of parting, you're the only one
It hurts and it hurts, but it's stupid
Even if I can't see you again, you're the only one, only one
You're the only one, only one
at my sudden words
Somehow, you feel relieved
Where did we come from so wrong
It's been a long time since I've been looking forward to other places
The sharpness of the very different beginning and end
Why is the pain that stabs my heart the same?
My heavy heart collapses empty in an instant
How do I stand up like this
My love, goodbye now, you're the only one (only one)
Even at this moment of parting, you're the only one
It hurts and it hurts, but it's stupid, but good bye (good bye)
Even if I can't see you again you're the only one (you're the only one)
When will my head erase you (I will let you go)
A day, two days, a month, maybe a few years (my baby can't forget)
And someday in your memory
A person like me won't live anymore, I'll erase it
Only one, only one
You're the only one, only one
I know it's hard to tell but I love these flowers ;)

Park Hyo Shin - Memories resemble Love
www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZIbDXv7cfA
Memories Resemble Love
You are blowing
The wind inside my heart called "you"
As you have always done
you shook up my heart
and left me with
only memories
I lost my way
Because I only ever followed you
without any doubts
So I've come to this point
But you aren't here
on this unfamiliar road
Take them with you
Even our good memories
Without you
They will only be a burden to me
If I keep bringing them back up
My longing will only grow
I take one step back down
that path and stop again
Memories look like love
so I'll keep looking back on them
Because you're still there
I guess that's why it hurts
In case once, just once
you might look at me too
Today I wait again
What am I going to do now?
No matter how much I try to escape you
I can't even go a few feet away
Every day in the same place
Every day, with the same burden
I live each day
No matter where I look, I only see you
The eyes you looked at me with
keep troubling me
So I close my eyes again
and when I try to erase you
my firmly closed lips tremble
and the tears I held back flow
Memories look like love
so I'll keep looking back on them
Because you're still there
I guess that's why it hurts
In case once, just once
you might look at me too
Today I wait again
If I turn around one day
and you're looking at me
what should I do?
I won't be able to say anything
You know me well
Memories go with the wind
and someday they'll be scattered
Even though I cry, even though I try to shout
Even though I try to pretend
That person I can't forget
Today I wait again
You know me well

Pink-eared Duck
Scientific Name: Malacorhynchus membranaceus
Description: The Pink-eared Duck is a small duck with a huge square-tipped grey bill and strongly barred brown flanks. It has a large brown eye patch on a white finely barred face. There is a small pink patch behind the eye. Upper parts are brown, underparts white barred dark brown. The upperwing is brown with a white trailing edge and the underwing linings are white, finely barred brown. In flight, there is a bold white crescent on the rump.
Similar species: The Pink-eared Duck is not mistakeable for any other duck.
Distribution: The Pink-eared Duck is found throughout Australia but only occasionally in Tasmania.
Habitat: The Pink-eared Duck is found in timbered areas near water. It prefers shallow, temporary waters, however open wetlands support large flocks. It is a highly dispersive and nomadic species.
Seasonal movements: Pink-eared Ducks are birds of the inland swamps and will fly great distances in search of water. Huge flocks often reach the coast in dry years.
Feeding: Pink-eared Ducks feed in shallow warmish waters. The highly specialised bill is fringed with fine lamellae (grooves) to filter out the microscopic plants and animals which make up the bulk of its diet.
Breeding: Breeding can take place all year round and is dependant on floodwaters. The nest is a rounded mass of down placed in a hollow or on a stump above the water. Pink-eared Ducks usually take over nests built by other birds, especially the Eurasian Coot, Fulica atra, and the Black-tailed Native Hen, Gallinula ventralis. Pink-eared Ducks form monogamous, probably life-long pair-bonds. The female incubates the eggs, and both parents brood the young.
Calls: A musical chirruping sound that is unusual for a duck, both while in flight and on water. When fighting, this call becomes almost continuous trilling.
Minimum Size: 36cm
Maximum Size: 45cm
Average size: 40cm
Average weight: 375g
Breeding season: Any time of year, influenced by rainfall and floods.
Clutch Size: 5 to 8
Incubation: 26 days

An exceptionally appreciated place in Poland is the Old Town in Warsaw, entered on the UNESCO list in 1980, not because of its historic value, but as an example of exceptional piety in the almost complete restoration of the oldest part of the city, methodically destroyed by the Germans after the Warsaw Uprising.

A break from the images, from Tenerife.
This was taken from the bedroom window the distance this is at would normally be too far, however I was advised to purchase a x2 extender. The combination of the R5 x2 ext and the 500 f/4, this is the result, the light wasn't the best so a bit of noise, but I feel this is a great shot. I don't actually have any images of a Dunnock singing so a result all round. Its singing from our Plum Tree :)
Thanks to all who view and comment on my images, much appreciated :)
We need to be environmentally savvy and respect and care for our environment, by doing so we will leave a better world for our children and grandchildren. If we ignore being environmentally friendly we will be left with even more environmental havoc and land will be taken away from us forever.
Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️❤️❤️

MacroMondays : PPEP
Comments much appreciated on improving this type of macro photography most welcome.
I wanted to give droplets ago again so here I used smaller than normal coloured pencils laid out in a pyramid style with an orange horizontal pencil held up by 3 chocolate discs 'which soon got eaten up'. You have 3 bubbles with the reflection of the coloured pencils reflected in the droplets and the outline of the droplets is the reflection of the droplets hanging from the pencil .
My attempt to get the bubbles evenly apart or of equal size failed, it seems a fine line in the amount you use to create the droplet and quite often would collapse.
To put the size of this image in perspective it takes 11 in length by 6 pencils in depth to fit on a business card of 8.5cm in length and 5.5cm in depth.

Appreciate even the smallest of things, we never know when life changes and takes us down the road of the unknown. To my friends thank you for the prayers. ♥
We live on a creek that has had so many sewage spills it is unreal our governing bodies just don't seem to care! This was taken on a day while boating and the reflections were beautiful, it is hard to imagine what we have done and are still doing to it!
With heartfelt and genuine thanks for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day, be well, keep your eyes open, appreciate the beauty surrounding you, enjoy creating, stay safe and laugh often! ❤️❤️❤️

Page: Plants Ornamental Flowers 17 Stunning Types of Sunflowers - Facts & Care Guide (with Photos)
Type: Sunflower 'Giant Sungold' Helianthus annuus hyb.
You can mistaken the Helianthus annuus 'Giant Sungold' for the Teddy Bear sunflower by the first look at its flower. They both have very dense layers of petals, but in fact, the Giant Sungold has deeper fluffy golden heads. It has a much bigger size and can grow to over 6 ft in height. This is such a beautiful, low-maintenance sunflower that fit any gardens or perennial borders.
Dwarf Sunflowers
These sunflowers look like miniature versions of full-sized sunflowers and look cute in children’s gardens or in flower beds and container gardens. Their care is much the same as larger sunflowers, except for the fact that due to their smaller stature, they do not require support to stand erect. They make excellent cut flowers and tend to last a long time. Just like other types of sunflowers, there are many cultivars available with different advantages to suit any sunflower lover’s garden.
Taken in Florida.
As always, thank you so much for stopping by and for leaving any comments or faves, they are very much appreciated.

Pale-headed Rosella
Scientific Name: Platycercus adscitus
Description: The Pale-headed Rosella is a medium-sized, broad-tailed parrot, with a pale head and all white, or blue and white cheek patches. The underbelly is mainly blue, with red under the tail. The back is yellow with dark flecks. The female is similar, though slightly duller, with an off-white underwing stripe. There is marked geographical variation, with differences in the depth of colour and the facial patch. This is a noisy and conspicuous parrot, except when feeding. Even though it is brightly coloured, the Pale-headed Rosella is very well-camouflaged when feeding amongst leaves in the canopy of the gum trees along the Alice River.
Similar species: The Pale-headed Rosella is very similar to the Eastern Rosella,Platycercus eximius, which has a bright red rather than yellow head. The two species are often found together and may hybridise (breed together, blending characteristics).
Distribution: The Pale-headed Rosella is endemic to north-eastern and eastern Australia.
Habitat: Pale-headed Rosellas are found in savanna woodlands, lightly timbered woodlands with a grassy understorey, tree-lined watercourses and agricultural lands.
Seasonal movements: Movements are poorly known and the Pale-headed Rosella is usually considered to be resident.
Feeding: Pale-headed Rosellas feed mainly on the ground, but also in trees and shrubs. They mainly eat seeds and fruits of grasses, shrubs and trees, as well as flowers, insects and their larvae. They feed more often in shade than in sunlight.
Breeding: Pale-headed Rosellas make their nests in the hollows of either dead or living trees, usually in eucalypts, or hollow stumps and posts. The nest is often near water. The eggs are laid on wood dust. Only the female incubates, though a few days after hatching the male helps with feeding the young.
Calls: The call is similar to that of the Eastern Rosella: 'kwik, kwik' calling in flight, or when perched a high pitched rapid 'pi-pi-pi-pi-pi' and soft chattering.
Minimum Size: 28cm
Maximum Size: 34cm
Average size: 31cm
Average weight: 110g
Breeding season: September to January or any time depending on rainfall
Clutch Size: 4 to 8
Incubation: 19 days
Nestling Period: 35 days

Generally I appreciate most insects and find myself moving slowly toward them when attempting to capture images. This overblown rose seemed to have a small visitor, so I thought "Ah-ha! There's a possibility!" What a surprise to find this bug-eyed fly looking straight at me. Perhaps beauty IS in the eye of the beholder.
