Special black Apple Fifth Avenue tee shirts were given free to the first 2,500 visitors, and 24 free Mac laptops were given away, one every hour, during the opening day celebration. The fellow in red is a lucky winner! He is holding his prize Mac laptop over his head as he leaves.

I was in line with about 2-300 other people at Apple's Stonestown shop. It took me about 2 hours from getting to the end of the line until I left with my iPhone.

New Apple store at 14th Street and Ninth Avenue in the Meatpacking District. I used to work in this space (The Armory Show). Gotta love those preschoolers workin the new iMac's.
